Amelia Hotel at the Beach
8/10 Good
"Location is great - right across a street to the beach at a roundabout - so easy - steps away from the sand! Nice breakfast - everything but waffles or pancakes - perfectly happy with it! Quality items! We stayed in the signature room - not luxurious, but a good size with everything you need…bathroom was large and comfortable…balcony was very small, but you could stand and see a part of the ocean ( building directly across the street blocking alot of the ocean view) . The building definitely needs updating , but it is well kept. We did not partake of the pool, so can’t comment on that. Restaurant directly across the street ( Sliders) is fun and has yummy food!"

"Staff was wonderful. Very well kept property. With very beautiful and welcoming entrance lobby. Front desk was just wonderful. Several restaurants with in a short walk and more around a mile away."

"This is my third stay. It’s an older property with older furniture, small amounts of rust on fixtures here and there, but it’s the BEACH! The staff is always friendly and attentive. Great stay for the price, and I will continue booking them!"

"I have traveled extensively this year everything from cruises to four and five star hotel stays across the US and the Westin Jekyll Island beat them all in two categories number one this hotel smelled so good. The first thing I did when I checked out was purchased their signature sent so I could have it in my house and number two the bed, bedding, and pillows were more comfortable than any other bed I’ve ever slept in on a vacation ever."
