It is located near the historic gold mining town of Groveland in the Sierra Nevada and just 25 miles from Yosemite National Park, making it the perfect jump-off place to visit the park.
Groveland is a small village with charming historical old establishments and restaurants to explore and enjoy. Visit the IRON DOOR for a trip back in the history of the hay-day of the 49ers. Check out the town Jail and imagine how it must have been back in the gold mining days.
Pine Mountain Lake is the premier planned community in the Sierras. It offers amenities for the whole family. To name just some, Championship Golf Course, Boating, and Fishing on Pine Mountain Lake. Spend the day at one of the three beaches around the lake or dine at The Grill, located at the Pine Mountain Lakes Country Club. It also included archery, a shooting range, tennis, pickleball, horseback riding, and more.
