Hooks Hideaway Motel
10/10 Excellent
"A clean, comfortable, and quiet place to sleep after spending the day at Glacier National Park. Showers had excellent water pressure and consistently hot water."
Wagon Wheel Home - Majestic Mountain Views - 15 Minutes to Glacier East Entrance
10/10 Excellent
"We highly recommend this property based on proximity to East Side entrances of Glacier NP, cleanliness, comfort, animals on the farm to entertain the kids, peaceful views, and accessibility of the hosts. They went above and beyond providing many extra amenities you wouldn’t otherwise get from a hotel stay (I.e. bear spray, coffee/teas, full kitchen, access to washer & dryer). To have a washer/dryer was indispensable for us after our hikes. We were also able to eat all our meals in because of full kitchen access. One potential recommendation would be to install 2 ceiling fans, one in each bedroom. This would help with airflow on hot days. The floor fans helped but weren’t enough. Thank you for the memories! We hope to be back again."
Walsh Cottage inside Glacier National Park on Lake McDonald
10/10 Excellent
"Great location inside the park."
New to vacation rental lovely 3-bedroom 2 bath on Duck Lake near Glacier Park
10/10 Excellent
"The house is spacious and in a great location for the east side of glacier national park, especially for St Mary and Many Glacier. We really enjoyed our stay. Biggest problem is the WiFi, very weak and spotty and sometimes didn’t have internet at all. If you need to be able to work remotely or even place an order it doesn’t work."
Glacier National Park central location. Many Glacier, St. Mary, and Two Medicine
10/10 Excellent
"Centrally located, plenty of parking, host provided great directions. We arrived in the dark & still managed to find it effortlessly. Host provided lots of extras such as detergent, a number of 5-gal water jugs, etc. not typically provided. Cabin was very clean and comfortable."
St. Mary, Many Glacier, Waterton area cabin
10/10 Excellent
"The cabin was exactly as described and very clean. Loved the close proximity to East Glacier. Had everything we needed!"
Duck Lake West Shore, Just 15 Minutes from Glacier National Park!
10/10 Excellent
"Larry responded quickly to my inquiries both prior to arrival and while we were there. Good location - more or less between St. Mary and Many Glacier, which we loved. It was actually enjoyable to be outside the park a bit after spending the day in the park as it was quiet and peaceful. It was nice to have a BBQ as one evening we relaxed at the cabin and BBQ'd and we really enjoyed the deck, lawn area and fire pit. The house was well stocked overall, however it would have been nice to have a few more variety of drinking glasses (i.e. smaller glasses as well as some wine glasses) and some shower body wash or soap would have been helpful as well. Not a deal breaker though! It looked like some previous guests left bear spray, bug repellent and some sunscreen which was nice. Glacier NP is a treasure and we were thankful to find this cabin so we could visit our daughter who is a ranger in St. Mary! Overall it was a very nice, comfortable place that I'd recommend for others and I'd definitely come back!"
Many Glacier Hotel - Inside the Park
8/10 Good
"Stayed here for 2 nights in July with family. Positives: Gorgeous setting. Swiss-like esthetics. Loved that you could walk to the trails and not worry about finding parking before beginning our hike(s). Ate at the lounge restaurant and it was very good. Also thrilled to have a coffee shop, snack shop available. If able to, go to dinner one night at the Swiftcurrent Motor Inn restaurant (just a couple minutes away driving) then walk down to Fishcap Lake (nicknamed Moose Lake). It’s about a 5-10 min easy walk. We visited this lake 3 times and saw moose 2 of those times. When visiting after dinner around 7, it was like the animals were paid actors. Deer all around, birds, beaver swimming, and a huge, bull moose. One of the highlights of the trip! Negatives: a small hike is necessary to get to the parking lot. There is not dedicated guest parking, so during the day the lot fills fast due to others not staying at Many Glacier wanting to use the easily accessible trails. During the day, it is hard to find parking. It was not a problem when we left for dinner and returned in the evening. Our room had a balcony but the bench and floorboards were covered in bird poop so not really usable. Shower was tiny and room definitely was warm for sleeping with no AC (but expected—it is July at a national park lodge, afterall)"
