"Great place! We would definitely stay here again. PROS:-- Adequately stocked kitchen -- the knives were decent and sharp. (one of my pet peeves with rentals)-- Beautiful fire pit and deck with lots of seating and great views.-- Flat outdoor space for outdoor games.-- Easy and fast communication with host.-- The indoor space is spread out. This is an older cabin that has been added on to so it almost feels like a warren of rooms and hallways. We liked this because it gave each of our families, their own area. It definitely has a cabin feel -- nothing fancy, which made for a relaxed vibe. There is an enclosed back porch which made for a great hang out area. (We couldn't hear the teenagers when they stayed up late.)CONS:-- This is part of a condo association and the other cabins are very close to this cabin. The beach and docks are shared space. (You do have your own dedicated part of the dock.) This was not an issue at all for us and people were respectful and easy to be around. (during the week, we were pretty much the only people there), but it wasn't clear on the property description ahead of time.-- There was one step up or step down from one room to the next -- pretty much for every room from the kitchen. They are all marked with caution tape. We were with my 88 and 85 year old parents and one of our party was on crutches. I wouldn't recommend this property for people with mobility issues.-- None of the showers had shower grab bars."

"Mende’s cabin on Grindstone lake is a wonderful place to spend a summers week. Clean, up to date with all the supplies and items you need for a great time! Easy level access to one of the best small mouth bass fishing lakes in Wisconsin. The beautiful lake view is on a quite spacious lake lot. Thanks so much!!"

"The Waterfront was a perfect place for our family stay. Garrett and Meg were excellent to communicate with, the property was exactly as described, and all of the additional touches were greatly appreciated. We are already discussing finding a way to get the family together and book the property again cause it met our needs so well. We greatly appreciate hospitality and the opportunity to book this property. It was a great trip for our family."
