"Clean space, kitchen equiped with everything you need to make a whole meal and nice people. Bernkastel-kues is a beautiful place and you have a nice view of it from the apartment. Would go again and would recommend to friends."

Die Wohnung hatte leider deutliche Mängel.Im Bad war der Toilettendeckel lose und an der Dusche hing einverdrecktes Handtuch.Im Flur fiel nach aufhängen einer Jacke der Haken aus der Wand. Im Kühlschrank befanden sich noch Getränke und Essensreste. Polster der küchenstühle sind stark verschmutzt oder beschädigt. Im Schlafraum sind die Steckdosen teilweise ohne Funktion und die Sessel ebenso am Polster verschmutzt..Im Wellnessbereich ist die Beleuchtung...

"We hebben genoten van de plek, rustig, ruim, veel privacy mogelijkheden in huis, als je zoals wij met 4 vriendinnen bent. Keuken uitrusting basic, alles is er. Fijn balkon en mooi uitzicht, je bent zo in de natuur. De wc zat in de badkamer, dat was soms wat onhandig. Prima plek! Gastheer was niet aanwezig maar wel goed te bereiken voor vragen."

The gem museum, gem mine, Celtic settlement were great trips and the open-air swimming pool in Rhaunen was much enjoyed. We visited Herrstein twice! Klaus and Anna were really helpful hosts. "Great location. Very beautiful and comfortable. Offered discount for parking and had a place to store our bicycles overnight. The room was spacious and had good amenities. It is old so the floors squeaked in some places. The rainfall shower head was leaky and in need of replacement, but did not interfere with showering. Best of all was a small fridge and a fan. Would highly recommend!"

"Fabulous from start to finish! Welcome drink on arrival, early access to our room which was in the cottage, we ate in the restaurant, the food was very good, staff very attentive and lovely wines. Swimming pool was great and the sauna. Great location and will definitely stay again."

"Just back from a visit to Idar-Oberstein. Parking was easy, I arrived after 10pm so reception was closed but a staff member was able to quickly get me checked in. Room was perfect for my stay. Hotel is close to the Felsenkirche and castles. The Norma shop is 2 minutes walk away and there are several places to eat in the square."

A Gem of a Place

"Beautiful location overlooking the Mosel River. Park the car in the public lot and walk about 300 meters to the hotel. Room key is in the lockbox and easy to access once you have the code. We had breakfast at the restaurant located down the street from the hotel and it was fantastic. We enjoyed the Weihnachten Festival just down the street from the hotel (100 meters). "

"Staff were nice and helpful, though didn’t fix soap dispenser after i asked. There were things unexplained and it made the stay a little challenging. No drawers or closets for clothes in the rooms made it difficult to arrange clothing during the stay, shower only made the whole floor wet and other users of the bathroom have to walk on wet tile floor and use same wet floor towel. Breakfast was good but a little expensive 14€, even if you only drink one coffee and eat one croissant. Did not try the restaurant at lunch but the menu looked good. Pretty area but next to a dry cleaners and some kind of factory, but there is a supermarket across the street."
