Unit was nice and modern and comfortably fit our family of five. Kitchen and bathroom were clean and tidy. Shower pressure was terrible. Unit was situated in a camping ground but luckily it wasn't too busy to be too noisy. Good playground for kids but games room equipment wasn't working properly.

The property is actually a motor camp, not a motel or apartment, i paid $270 for one person for one night in what was essentially a tourist cabin in a motor camp. I had no other option as everywhere else was booked out so a lesson in forward planning i guess

Sorry we didn't meet your expectations in our Holiday Park (not motor camp), you actually stayed in one of our Two Bedroom Motel Units (which is fully self-contained and meets every criteria that a standard motel unit has in a motel complex) and yes it is situated within a Holiday Park which is clearly stated on the Greymouth Motels and Seaview Apartments site that you booked on. Unfortunately Greymouth was busier than you expected on this particular night and accommodation was tight in town, even in these crazy covid-19 times I would recommend booking ahead and not leave it to the last minute.

We booked the apartments, very nice, clean, quiet, nicely furnished. Exactly what we were after. Even on the weekend of street races the entire campground was very quiet. Staff could not be more helpful.

Great overnight stay
Stayed in a studio motel unit for one night. Very spacious, clean and had everything we needed. Also used laundry facilities on-site which were clean, modern and plenty of washers and dryers to service the entire site. Great staff - very friendly and knowledgeable. Would stay here again.

The property condition is very good, staffs are very nice. Just a bit far from town centre, and we found a spider on bed when we woke up in the morning.

This is actually a Top 10 Holiday Park - so it is a bit misleading to advertise it as a separate Motel and Apartment complex. We were right in the middle of the holiday park with communal kitchens, showers etc just beside our room. Again not a problem and our stay was fine - but not what we were lead to believe the accommodation was.

The property was nice., clean and tidy. Close to the beach and a great play area for the kids. Our room was very dark and dated, and the bathroom was very tired. It was very overpriced for what we got. From the photos on the site and what we paid, we expected a more up to date room with better views.

Truly fabulous
We stayed in the two bedroom seaview apartment and it was well worth the extra $$. Breathtaking view, spotlessly clean, ultra modern kitchen and bathrooms. Very friendly staff with child friendly playground and games room, plus very short walk to beach. We will definitely stay here again

Its on a campground
Shame when you keep booking hotels and then one "luxury apartment" you book, turns out to be a cabin on a campground. That would be a vital information you should put up and not hide those facts.

The hotel wasnt a "Luxury Seaside Apartment" - simply a nice motel unit annexed to a motor camp. The motel unit was nice and clean however.

Misleading description
This listing is misleading. The accommodation is at the Top 10 Holiday Park in Greymouth which has a couple of apartments. Our motel studio was tired, shabby (damaged furniture) and unclean (we could write words in the dust on the table). Couldn’t leave the window open as the placement of the window was so close to the door it could be unlocked from outside so it was very hot. Overall an uncomfortable night that I Walsh we’d not bothered breaking up our drive with. Hotels.com should change this listing to make it clear what the property actually is.

This was a little misleading its basically and old still camp site with challets, its ok but you get usual kids roming round getting into trouble, rooms are basic but clean Dont be fooled by luxury appartment title

Worth a look
Overall a very nice place to stay, most of the grounds are well maintained and the room was reasonably well appointed. The staff were friendly and efficient, and being located on the beach front is a fantastic selling point. It's pertinent to mention that this "hotel" is actually part of the local holiday park, which I was not expecting. That being said, I really only have two negatives to point out. 1. The shower ran from very hot to tepid, all of it's own accord 2. The room advertised/booked is not the room I was given Essentially, ensure you get the room you booked and check the shower before unpacking and I'm sure you'll not be disappointed.

What you see in the expedia picture of "luxury seaside Apartments" does not exist you are booking the top ten holiday park. They are joined cabins with no view at all You will not find luxury seaside apartments in your gps either as that is not the name . Very disappointing Expedia I would hazard to say false advertising

Nice hotel near ocean beach
The hotel is close to the ocean beach with interesting stones. A nice two-mile trail leads toward quaint downtown Greymouth.

Temper expectations
Site pictures on Hotels.com gave the impression all units have an ocean view. Only three units have the balcony with ocean view. The majority of the units are ground floor with a view of the parking lot. Also, the site name is the Greymouth Seaside TOP 10 Holiday Park, a motel. The staff was very helpful and the unit was spotless. Our unit with the lawn in front was very nice with parking right in front of the unit. The bed was comfortable and the amenities were very useful. It was a short drive to town and there was plenty of parking available.

The room was fine; it was more than enough space. We got into the motel late, and when we got up the next morning and started doing laundry, we were told we must leave. We were not told at check in the check out was at 10 instead of the usual 11. The other large rooms in our block were obviously not being used so this pushiness was excessive. 2 employees came by, the female being quite rude to my family to get out even though we still had laundry in the dryer.
