"Base Camp is literally that. It is at the base of the gondola so easy access for hikers, bikers etc. The room are no frills but clean and the bunks and 1 double was perfect for our family of 5. The staff is the best part - super helpful and friendly."

"Friendly staff! The facility has clean common areas and washrooms, since they’re cleaned everyday. Kitchen is great. It’s too bad the hostel is mostly closed during the cleaning hours (no room and kitchen access) but then again you don’t come to Glencoe to stay inside :) They should fix the faucets and hand dryers in the washrooms since they don’t all work properly. Its nice that they have coffee and tea available all day. I’d recommend jt and would stay here again"

"James welcomed us on arrival and showed us to our room. He gave us a run down of where to get dinner then stayed for a lovely chat. It felt like catching up with an old friend! "My Glencoe trip was a bucket-list item and it proved to be wonderful. Kentra cottage is lovely - spotless, all mod cons, comfortable, spacious, very well equipped. Many thanks to Kirsty the owner. Glencoe village is quaint and of course perfectly placed for the spectacular surroundings. There are easy walks in woods and by the loch side to very difficult ones like Buachaille Etive Mor (for an older person like me!) which I did (just) - worth the effort though. All in all, a superb trip."
