"Fantastic location and sense of being in a special place. Room was in annexe but that was fine, just a short walk across car park, and was reasonably spacious with efficient lift. Staff could not have been more helpful whether cheerfully bringing more tea at breakfast or dealing helpfully with enquiries at reception. If coming by car, parking seems tricky. We had to go to nearby paid (£5 for 24 hours) car park but we're fortunate to get a hotel space on day 2. Swimming pool is a great extra facility, especially when quiet "

"There was an issue with a broken shower door that I didn't notice until late in evening before going to bed. The issue made showering difficult and I'm sure if I'd noticed sooner something would have been done to correct it. Overriding that niggle was the excellent breakfast. And fantastic host Ishwha(?) who was so welcoming, cheerful and helpful."
