"Hotel on main drag in town so a little noisy with car traffic until late evening. We upgraded the room when we booked, so there was plenty of space. Bed was hard ish but that’s most German beds.Very clean room and bathroom , plus double sinks. We had a river view beyond the street and parking lot. The balcony was a long area connecting many rooms and of course right on that main road. Breakfast included scrambled eggs plus the salads , meats , cheeses and rolls. Coffee was very good. "Me and my wife are turning 75 this year and are giving ourselves a wine trip through Germany, France and Spain. Weinromantichotel was our first stop. A really nice hotel in fantastic surraoundings. We were very well taken care of with a nice ornamented dinner table. The dinner was great and then we asked for a wine test. We tested several wines and bought several bottles. Our thanks to a very wellcoming and warm atmosfair. We will definetly go back."

There was no other choise at 9pm in Bad Bertrich is almost night... Very quiet town with no other interest than the thermal baths and relex for retired people. Very nice indeed. My room (11) was located next to the staircase (as many rooms are) - and it felt like the door was made of thin paper. This makes it hard to get a good nights rest - unless you are deaf."
