We stayed here for our family’s first ski trip to Sunrise. We are a family of four and also brought my parents. There was plenty of space. The location was great. We walked to lunch each day after a morning of skiing. The house was well stocked. My two and four year olds especially enjoyed the library of books and even watched their first VHS tape. My only complaint is that the dishwasher was broken and we had to ask for new sponges and gloves to wash dishes, which were delivered the day after we checked in. We would happily return in the future assuming the dishwasher is replaced (which the management company mentioned a new one had been ordered).

Clean & Comfortable
Overall, we had a really lovely family vacation at this cabin.
Checking in was very stressful and difficult. The person on the phone was incredibly rude and unhelpful. We had to call back multiple times to get assistance even though we arrived well before the 6 o'clock check in cut off time. Once we got to the cabin, it was pre-warmed with the fireplace on and that was very nice!
We were there during the winter and the driveway and yard was plenty of space for our children to play and build snowmen in addition to our 4 cars being parked there.
The cabin was very clean, the beds were comfortable and we had plenty of space for the entire family. The kids loved the ping pong table. There is a huge selection of family games - we played guesstures and it was super fun!
The kitchen is well equipped with plenty of bowls, crock pots, etc. In addition, we were told there was no dishwasher but there was one when we arrived. The convection oven was super helpful to cook all of the things. The double oven in the kitchen is small and the bottom portion is much hotter than the setting. Even with that, we were able to make Thanksgiving dinner and many other meals fairly easily.
We had plenty of towels and extra linens/blankets. There was only one trash bag in the house and even though it was quite large, it wasn't enough for our entire stay. We had to call the office multiple times before they sent someone with trash bags. Luckily we found a couple in one of our cars to hold us over for the two days they didn't respond. Every time we called, we got an answering service that was rude and would tell us we have to call another number at least X amount of times before they would assist us...even though we told them we had already called the numbers they gave us. When we did finally get trash bags, the person who delivered them was kind and apologized.
The location is directly on the main road. This was great for us - easy access in the snow and walking distance to a restaurant - but wouldn't be great for someone wanting privacy or quiet/calm.
TL;DR - nice cabin, comfortable beds, clean, plenty of space, poor customer service and stressful check in.
I wanted to leave a thorough and complete review of this place based on my own experience staying at this cabin, however, VRBO restricts the number of characters you can use in your review forcing me to omit very important information and details that would help future guests. So why bother? Just know that this place has it pros and cons. I would like to tell you what they are, but I only have 67 characters left. So if your are thinking about staying here you must know the followi
This property is beautiful and well stocked. It does not mention however that is on the main road with traffic noise and other than the beautiful patios no outdoor areas to speak of. We were frustrated that the property owners never once replied to our inquiries once we booked. The questions were simple to answer and would have helped us plan better. I would book this property again now that I know what to expect.
