On Mountain Time is a newer chalet with custom features throughout. Tastefully designed with guests in mind. The perfect spot to just relax and take in the beautiful views, or head out on an adventure if that is more your style. Summer options are endless with 3 points of water access within a mile and endless hiking options. The chalet has 3 kayaks with paddles for guest use, please bring appropriate life vests to fit your guests. Mt Abram ski resort is just 3 miles away offering, alpine skiing, mountain biking, a great family lounge and beer garden in the summer with entertainment. If you are looking for more terrain, Sunday River Ski Resort, the biggest and best in the east, is a short 14-mile drive. Extensive hiking trails within a couple of miles of the property, golf, shopping, dining and entertainment all within 10 minuets. The home itself is beautifully furnished with striking furniture and accents throughout reflecting the mountain location and modern but cozy design. The main level offers open concept living with fireplace, dining, and kitchen with floor to ceiling windows facing west for amazing sun sets over the lake. Also, on the main is a full bath, laundry and bedroom with two twin beds. The upper-level features more amazing views, a king suite, queen bedroom and additional full bath. The lower level is perfect for the kids and kids at heart with a bunk room with custom XL bunks, TV area and pool table. After a long day on the trails or slopes head back to the chalet grab a drink and snack and head to the deck to watch the sun slip behind the mountains or enjoy it from the hot tub! Prepare dinner and then sit by the fire pit and roast smores or jump back in the hot tub and watch the stars. The location, views, amenities and access to so much make this the perfect spot for your family get away! The damage waiver fee of $150.00 is a non-refundable payment- which covers accidental damage up to the amount of $1500.00. This fee is processed in the overall costs of the rental at the time of booking. Remember we are in the mountains of Maine and the snow we hope for all year can make travel more difficult. We recommend all or 4 wheel drive in the winter season. The roads and driveway are professionally maintained but guests may find travel difficult without it.
~Cancellation Policy:
If you cancel more than 30 days before arrival: You’ll receive a refund of your deposit, minus a $50 processing fee.
If you cancel within 30 days of arrival: You’ll be refunded for any portion of your stay that is rebooked by another guest.
