Barely acceptable

The room was basic and cleanliness borderline. The bathroom door would not latch shut and would swing wide open. When we told the desk clerk, he told us that yes it would close and that someone had apparently been trapped in there. Hmmm, all we know is that no way that door would stay closed and now we were being told that we were wrong. The mattress had peaks and valleys and appeared to be well past prime. The breakfast area again was extraordinarily basic, 4 honeybuns out and some cereal, juice and coffee. We elected to eat elsewhere.

Awful!! Something is wrong here!

This was the worst place ever. We did not even stay. The man working the front desk didn't even speak English very well at all. He said that I had checked in yesterday and ended up screaming at us. A hotels.com rep called him as well trying to figure something out and she even said it was shady!!

Aboslutely worst, avoid at all costs!

The guy at the counter was not courteous, did not have my reservation. I had to call hotels.com and they offered to fax him the information but he said his fax machine was not working and could not take orders over e-mail as well. Had poor grasp of English and seem to lack basic coustomer service skills, had to head to nearby hotel and pony up. Avoid at all costs!

Any Port in a Storm

Had it not been for just needing a room; I would have drove on to another hotel but, near Texas A&M Commerce, Texas you don't have too many choices without paying twice the price. The beds were, for the most part, clean and we did not spend any time in the room other than just to sleep.

Close to the highway

Continental breakfast left a lot to be desired. The food tables were messy and unattended. The desk clerk was not at his station.

The rooms were ok but service was a disaster. What i was promised was not given or delivered. As for continental breakfast,there wasn't any. My family and I had to go out to a restaurant to eat. There was 9 members in my family. Disappointed and not a happy Traveler. The room phones didn't work, internet didn't work, the up stairs room toilet was cracked...overall rating i would give it a ZERO!

Go somewhere else

Some of the lights are not working,the bath overflows every time you take a shower,we asked them to fix it,several times they could not get someone to fix it till we left,the breakfast was horrible.

Greenville, TX - I got what I paid for.

Temporary work light over our sink, instead of any sort of normal light. Place on wall where smoke detector apparently used to be. Tv remote didn't work. No coffee pot in room. Extremely difficult to get key card to work in door. Walls in bathroom not fully painted, looked like maybe getting rid of black mold? Couldn't really tell. Hallway had very horrible odor, not of cigarette smoke, and dead bugs on carpet. Free breakfast was prepackaged snack cakes, a few pre-filled styrofoam cups of waffle mix, 3 empty cereal dispensers, and one of cheerios, half loaf of almost stale bread for toaster, one pot of coffee, nothing ever refilled. Pics of hotel are obviously very old, because it was not that bright or clean. But it was the cheapest I could find, I was only there 2 nights, so I slept fully clothed on top of the bed, didn't turn down the covers.

there was a curly hair on the pillow, and something that resembled blood in the ice bucket. the air conditioner would shut on and off throughout the night (most A/Cs will keep the fan running, so you're not jarred awake by the turning on/off- not this one). the breakfast was a joke- a loaf of white bread, overly runny waffle batter, no milk for the cereal, pre-wrapped danishes about the size of a half dollar.

Poorly Kept

Towels were stained and had holes. The front desk was always unattended. Blankets and pillow cases were also stained. Definitely get what you pay for here. If money is an issue, you can deal by bringing own towels and pillow cases.

The stay at the hotel was not a good experience. We will not stay there again. The staff was very frendily and no help at all. They ran out of coffee on Sunday morning after one pot and no coffee was furnished again.

Toilet was backed up on arrival. Hallway smelled heavily of smoke. Needs a little TLC on maintaining the building. Breakfast was poor, even for a lower rate hotel. The coffee was very week, the juice machine was broken and they had nothing but cereal, waffles, and two choices of dry pastry items. Thank God Mc Donalds was close by.... The room was not bad but they can stand to get new towels and wash clothes. Theirs are so used that they look dingy.

If you just want to sleep.

The motel is old. It needs a makeover for sure. If you just need a bed and a shower for the next day you will get just that. If you need any sort of luxury go elsewhere but for the penny pincher it will work.

Just a quick trip in and out. Arrived at midnight and gone by 8 am.....WiFi wasnt working but I was tired enough not to care. Only a few cars in lot and it was the wed night before thanksgiving and no breakfast was served on Thur morning. No one at desk to complain too. It was a clean hotel in a good spot. I would stay again.
