🪵 Disclaimer: Rural Cabin Stay – Please Read 🌲
By proceeding with this reservation, you acknowledge and understand that you are renting a cabin located in the rural woods of Northern Maine. While we strive to provide a clean, comfortable, and well-maintained environment, there are natural elements that come with the setting:

🐭 Mice Activity: Mice may be present year-round due to the surrounding wilderness, with increased activity during the cooler months (fall and winter) as they seek warmth indoors. We use natural and sterile methods to treat the cabin, but occasional sightings or signs of mice may still occur.

❄️ Ice & Snow: Icy conditions are common in colder months. We do our best to salt and shovel walkways, but some ice may remain. Please use caution when walking outside during these times.

🕸️ Spiders & Webs: In this remote wooded setting, spiders are prevalent. We clear webs before each guest’s arrival, especially around the exterior, but they often rebuild quickly due to the natural environment.
By confirming your stay, you accept and understand these conditions as part of the authentic and rustic Northern Maine experience. 🌲🏡

The "Cabin" is beautiful! The view looking out while enjoying your meals is breathtaking! The foliage was incredible! We are already talking about going back! This was a quick weekend getaway, with my Mama , and 6 of her 7 kids. We laughed so so much! We cried, and we made memories that will never be forgotten! , And...the best part it's pet friendly!! I would love to go at Christmas time, and see a 15 foot tree in there! Beautiful high ceiling would definitely allow a huge tree! Highly, highly recommend!!

The house is nicely situated close to Greenville and has a beautiful view overlooking Moosehead Lake. Really unbeatable for that view. Overall we found the house comfortable, exceptions noted below, and the kitchen had adequate appliances and dishware. The bedrooms work for a family with children. Not so for our 5 adults. One of the three bedrooms was closet sized with a set of bunk beds and a bed stand. Only 3 feet of space between the beds and the wall. Clearly for kids. My brother, age 75, ended up on the top bunk with his suitcase spread out on the bottom bunk. It was a challenge for him, but he good naturedly said “I’ve had worse.” My husband and I slept in the other kid’s room. My husband, six feet tall, could not sit up without hitting his head. Again, meant for kids. The first floor bathroom is tiny but works. Be forewarned there is a moisture meter in the bathroom, which we discovered emits a loud warning beep after anyone takes a shower. It took us a bit to discover the source. Also there was a gas monitor near the gas fireplace that went off in the middle of the night. It was not properly calibrated for the location. The mgt co said they knew about these and it was ok to just remove them to avoid future alarms. ? Also note they only supply a starter kit of paper towels and toilet paper. Never encountered this before, though it was noted in the check in instructions which I missed. 3 days in we had to get more TP. OK, but not for the price.
