Family vacation

Man cave was not cleaned, rodent dropping everywhere, shop next to it had stored human trash from prior renters. Pool was not working and uncleaned (has been reported to owner but chooses not to fix it and lies on the listing, hot tube same way, shooting range was a joke, weeds were so high you could not shoot

Horrible place

Extremely Disappointing ExperienceI regret to say our recent 5-day stay at this property was unacceptable and far below basic hospitality standards. Major Comfort & Safety Failures•Air Conditioning: Non-functional for 3 entire days across all 4 units in the house. Indoor temperatures ranged from 75–85F, making the environment miserable during the daytime.•Electricity for Pool Equipment: The pool was not maintained. There was no electricity to run the pumps, making the pool unusable and unsanitary.•Stovetop Issues: Only 3 out of 5 burners were working, which made meal preparation difficult and frustrating. Cleanliness and Hygiene Concerns•Dirty Interiors: The floors were visibly filthy. Walking barefoot turned our feet black. When we removed couch cushions to sit on the floor, we found dirt, debris, and even a pair of underwear underneath.•Smell: The entire house had a strong musty, unpleasant odor. Towels smelled like mildew, and the overall environment did not feel clean or fresh.•Pest and Plant Issues: The property was infested with ants and surrounded by poison ivy, which posed serious health risks. Customer Service and Compensation•We notified both the property manager and the owner about these issues promptly.•The only response we received was an offer of 3 extra hours on late check-out—a token gesture that did not come close to compensating for the severe inconvenience.•We ultimately left early and checked into a hotel, as the st
