"We so enjoyed our stay at this place. The interior was nicely furnished and clean! The view of the lake outside was beautiful and calming. There were plenty of places to sit outside and enjoy the firepit and lake. At the end of the day, part of our group sat at the end of the dock and enjoyed watching the boats and other watercraft as they passed by on the lake. Unfortunately rain prevented us from enjoying the firepit, but that just means we will have to return to enjoy this great get away...

"The house was clean and tidy. We were there to just sleep and not entertain. I would say that for our family preferences, we’d stay in a more quiet area of the city. This part of Grand Rapids while charming is busier than we expected. This is no fault of the host. Her description of the home and what was included was spot on. It is an old house but VERY charming and cozy. Lots of great coffee shops and eateries nearby etc. Good value and stay overall."

"We really enjoyed our stay at Linda's river house. The house itself was very clean and a had a beautiful view of the river running behind the house. We came up for a weekend of golf and there was no shortage of great courses nearby. Linda was a very accommodating host and had several suggestions for food in the Rockford area. We really enjoyed the small town atmosphere and would recommend to anyone looking for a quiet weekend away."

"My husband and I stayed at Suzanne's place over his birthday. We were both so impressed by the decorating, amenities and attention to detail. Outside the approach to the lake was nice and flat with a dock and kayaks. Ample outdoor space to relax on multiple decks or around the fire pit. Amazing place!!I would give it a 10 plus rating!!"

"The home was equipped with absolutely everything you could possible think of. Sue, our host went above and beyond to ensure me and my group of 11 friends had everything we needed. We had 5 couples in the group and everyone was very comfortable. We didn’t even use all the spaces in the home because it’s so spacious. The kitchen is amazing. Having 3 sinks, 2 dishwashers, 3 ovens made meal times a breeze. There were a couple of mishaps but Sue was very responsive. We had a day of golf at Arrowhead...

"Pictures really dont do the scenery justice. The house itself was beautiful as well. The kids really enjoyed the game room on the lower level. Had issues with the VRBO app, which wouldnt allow me to respond to messages, so hopefully the owners see this so they know how much we enjoyed our stay! Will be back in the future when rhe weather is warmer to utilize the lake!"

"Our family loved this cottage and we loved the hostess Nina! When I first walked into the house it smelled amazing and the view was beautiful. It was such a great first impression. The beds are comfortable and all the natural light in the cottage makes it a happy space. We reached out to Nina several times and she was always available and accomadating. I highly recommend staying at this cottage!"
