Life is Better at The Conner Lodge No Cleaning Fees

The Conner Lodge is located in the Foothills of the Great Smokey Mountains and offers a peaceful country setting in our beautiful TN mountain area just a few miles from Lake Tellico and near The Dragon. The Lodge accommodates up to six guests. The lower level rental has a private entrance with a large outdoor patio area and firepit area with comfortable seating for guests. There is a large private back yard overlooking wooded acreage where you will probably see a few deer during your stay. Enjoy high speed internet and high end cable with dish network. There are 3 bedrooms and a sleeper sofa. The kitchenette has a large side by side fridge, coffee maker, toaster, microwave, and small convection oven. We provide plates, cups, and silverware as well as breakfast/snack items and pots and pans for cooking. The Lodge has a very large cement driveway with an additional gravel parking area great for parking boats and motorcycle trailers. No additional cleaning fees are charged for your stay at The Conner Lodge. The Lodge is about 30 minutes from Townsend and within an hour of Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. Fort Loudon Damn is about 15 minutes away which has some of the best fishing around this area.

So clean and comfortable !

Spotless, with very comfortable beds and furnishings including snacks, towels, and extras! There is not a full kitchen, but they have a toaster, coffee pot, crock pot, toaster oven, and grill available with plenty of disposable dishes. Very quiet, with a great outdoor space facing the woods. Fire pit and plenty of outdoor seating too. Highly rexommend!!!

Great stay

Stay was for work and pleasure. Loved the area off the beaten path. Country hillsides location with short commutes for necessities and food. Host was very accommodating and assured to resolve any problem should it arise. Host was always available. Nicely decorated. Highly recommend.

This property is wonderful and certainly beats a hotel room. David the host is friendly and made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. The patio looks directly out at a forest where deer meander. We definitely would stay again!

Fisher's Paradise

The property is amazing from the second you walk in the door. The fishing decorations are something to be marveled and the patio is everyman's dream. I will definitely be booking again.

Amazing Getaway

This was a great place to stay for the weekend and have some quality time with the kids. Dave was super nice and easy to deal with. We even had homemade cookies waiting for us!

Our stay was amazing captain David ∠ie were so sweet, definitely enjoyed our conversations. We had an amazing wine and chocolate covered strawberries for our anniversary! We will definitely book with them again in the future. We were very happy and pleased with our stay. Their home is beautiful, was very clean and had everything we needed and then some for our stay!

Spring in Greenback

We had the best time discovering the hidden gem that is found in Greenback, TN and Tellico Lake. We loved the many hiking trails and beautiful scenery of this portion of TN, which gives you the benefits of the Smokeys without the human congestion that you find at the national park. Captain Dave was a wonderful host.

December Birthday Trip

I came here with my husband and 2 college aged sons, to celebrate my birthday but also visit my father and 93 year old grandma. We all had so much fun on the trip. Captain David and Angie we gracious hosts, and Angie even left me cupcakes and a gift for my birthday! One day of our trip was rainy and gross all day. Captain David allowed my dad and grandma to spend some time on site where we played many, many games of pool. I will definitely try to stay here on our next trip to Tennessee!

Absolutely beautiful, serene place to stay.

Everything about this home was so wonderful. The rental is on the ground floor of a beautiful home on a hillside, and it opens to a huge patio area with a grill, dining table, lounge chairs, patio couch and chairs, a little bar and two person table with chairs. It doubles the living space and the entire unit and patio is completely private, with the added convenience of having the hosts right in the main house for questions or anything you might need. The use of space inside is genius and the decor is inviting and relaxed (reminded me of a lake house). I couldn’t believe there were three bedrooms in there but it’s true, along with everything you need in the kitchen area for making light meals, drinking coffee, or storing leftovers from the dinner we grilled. The living room area is in the same place as the kitchenette and has a comfy couch and large t.v. As if that weren’t enough, we arrived to find a ton of snacks and even a special treat left by the owners. The pool table was an added bonus and a great way to pass the time with family members. We were there for a funeral for my husband’s sister so it was a painful time, but this place provided us with the quiet peacefulness we needed at the time. The hosts could not have been more gracious, helpful or responsive. What a pleasant surprise this rental was! A huge thank you to Captain David and his wife for the hospitality! Definitely recommend!

Perfect for Fish/Fishermen Enthusiasts

This place was in a very quiet and peaceful location. The space itself is only the bottom portion that you see on the back side. You do not have access to the other balcony areas (which we did not know). There is no kitchen sink or oven, and the toaster oven cannot be used with any other appliance or the breaker blows. (This happened during our stay.) If you like fish - you will love this place. The decor is HEAVY on the fish (more than is in the pictures on VRBO). To the hosts, I would suggest removing some of the things and clearing some counter space, as it was difficult to find places to set things & felt pretty cluttered. Only one bedroom had a window - my room was pitch black at 2pm in the afternoon. All of this would've been helpful to know before hand - as these things were not spelled out - and we went by all the fabulous reviews about the hosts. The hosts ARE amazing - generous, friendly, helpful and responsive. They are the best! I just think this cabin space is much more cramped than it appears in the pictures, and is definitely set up with fishermen in mind. I went with my BFF for a girls weekend away, and we were just overwhelmed by the fish everywhere on the walls, counters, shelves...even the toiletpaper holder is a fish. Haha!! If you're making a fishing trip & are looking for a great place to sleep or hang out outside when you're not fishing (you need to have good weather to use the outdoor offerings), this is the place for you! You will not be disappointed!

The hosts were incredibly friendly and helpful, with excellent communication. The lodge was very clean and comfortable. My nephew really enjoyed playing pool on the pool table. This is a very nice place to stay with even nicer people as your hosts. I'd definitely recommend staying here.
