"This place was so cute. I only stayed for one night but I wish I had stayed longer. Very clean and cute. You could tell a lot of love and care had been put into the decor. Everything felt cozy and homey. They even had coffee and cookies available in the room. And they provided a little binder full of hiking spots, restaurants, and things to do nearby which was very helpful. If I ever come through this town again o will definitely stay at Madeline’s. "

"An older but luxurious Inn type hotel located in the hiking and climbing area in the Wicklow mountains. Visit the area-it's magnificent-frsh crisp air, views everywhere, stroll up a hillside or just sit and watch. We enjoyed everu minute of our time at this facility.. "Apologies to the manage, I unfortunately I had not made contact before we arrived in Ireland, although an email was sent,which I missed. The lovely staff at the Wicklow Heather Restaurant on our first night, were able to explain where we were to head for and a neighbour helped with the keypad login! The views were fantastic and the weather clear and warm. This Wicklow lodge is a most tranquil, enjoyable place to stay, with all the amenities one could want. My 91 yr old Mum and I manage the flights of steps using our sticks, I had not checked whether there would be steps! they did not detract from our enjoyment. Definitely 10/10, perfect for us.Thank you for this wonderful llodge in the mountains of Wicklow"
