Beautiful location, comfortable and very clean. everything you need for a totally relaxed break as we had. A small family run hotel with great facilities, Anna and Dinos are very welcoming, friendly. We are most evenings at the hotel, food was excellent.

Fabulous hotel in sublime location
The hotel was beautiful; lovely pool, fantastic breakfast and wonderfully kind staff. The view from the pool was amazing. If I have one gripe, the mattress was hard, so I didn't sleep well. Everything else was superb.

Beautiful hotel with Ionian views!
Our room was very nice and spacious. The hotel is on a ridge overlooking the Ionian Sea, just outside the small town of Magganos. There are dining and grocery options nearby and in the port town of Fiskardo, about a 10 minute drive away. Breakfast was very nice, and we also had some delicious dinners at the hotel restaurant. The best part of our stay was the very friendly and helpful staff. On a day that we took a trip to Ithaca (on a ferry they helped arrange), we needed to depart before breakfast. Knowing our schedule, they had a take-away breakfast and coffee ready to go for us. An unexpected nice touch. The roads are winding, but it's definitely worth the trip. Drive carefully, and watch out for goats!

As a small hotel with only 11 rooms it felt intimate and very special. The staff did everything to make it a first rate holiday. It was the nicest suite I had ever stayed in and felt quite luxurious.

Lovely hotel very close to Fiscardo with amazing views of the sunset and the island. Staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Room was very clean and bed was very comfortable. Looking forward to going back. Highly recommended!

Superb
First impressions were great, room spacious, clean and in good condition considering it was towards the end of the season. All the staff were friendly and efficient and nothing was too much trouble. Hotel had everything required for a truly relaxing holiday.

We had a wonderful 3 nights at Melmar View and we're fortunate enough to have a free upgrade to the best suite. Excellent, friendly attentive owner/ manager, Dinosaur, who was on hand at most times to answer queries and assist. The hotel is very close to beaches and Fiskardo. We had 2 long walks....one around deserted villages from near Maganos and then into Fiskardo and back and the other linking the lighthouse and battery walks and back to Fiskardo inland. All 3 meals we had locally were very good...one at Apagia in Fiskardo, managed by Dinos' wife. Highly recommended

Lovely small hotel
We had a perfect stay at Melmar View. There are only 11 rooms which makes your stay feel personal and familiar. The pool was immaculate and had a great view, the food was good, breakfast was nice and because there are not 100’s of guests then if you want a fresh fried egg you can get it. The bar had a good selection and a very friendly barman who will create cocktails for you. The hotel has a great sunset view, so sundowners are a must. There is a small village 5 minutes walk away, with 3 taverna’s a supermarket and a fruit shop. There are 2 beaches a short drive away, the smaller one is great for a sunset, cocktails and food. The larger beach is better for the daytime and has a good taverna. Fiskardo is a 10 minute drive. It’s the nicest town on the island. Lots of boats and places to eat. No cars on the harbour so its really calm and safe, and very picturesque. Couldn’t fault the hotel or area, we had a really relaxing week here and will be going back.

Fantastic first family holiday
Just got back from a wonderful week at the Melmar view, our 4 month old daughters first trip abroad. Everything was perfect, clean spacious room with a sea view balcony, exceptionally friendly and helpful staff, beautiful pool and beautiful views. The hotel is in a quiet and peaceful location but there are 3 restaurants within walking distance of the hotel and plenty of beautiful beaches and restaurants a short drive away. Jorgens cocktails were great and the breakfast was very nice. Cannot fault this hotel, it was wonderful. They provided us with a travel cot and a steriliser which was an added bonus.

Superb Greek Hotel
This is by far the best hotel we’ve ever stayed in in Greece. The standard of comfort was excellent. The bedroom was fantastic and the bathroom was spotless, with a shower over the bath, so the floor remained dry. There were four clean towels every day, towels for the pool and towels and brollies to take to the beach. There’s an extensive range of books read too.

Fantastic sunset views in a quiet location
Fantastic sunset views from a lovely quiet hotel only a short drive to Fiskardo. Staff are fantastic, only having 11 rooms really gives the personal touch. Room was spacious and comfortable, breakfast a great selection, and the advice given on exploring the numerous quiet beaches Kefalonia has to offer, or things to do out of nearby Fiskardo, made our stay relaxing and fulfilling.

Fabulous boutique hotel with exceptional service
The service at this hotel was outstanding from start to finish and really made our stay here (I can't say I've ever been greeted at a hotel with a handshake before or made to feel so welcome). All members of staff were welcoming and polite and really couldn't do enough for you. The rooms, pool, dining room and all public areas were maintained to the highest standard. I would not hesitate in recommending this hotel, go there if you want to feel like a VIP visitor!

Picturesque Hotel with great staffs and pool
Our stay at Melmar was a moment to remember for me and my fiance. Hotel is situated in a quite place at the north of island and only few minutes drive away from Fiskardo and Assos. The staffs were very friendly and made us feel very comfortable and pleasant. The deluxe room we booked was very clean and view from the balcony was something to die for and not to mention the crystal clear warm swimming pool which was the icing on the cake. All in all, it was an excellent experience staying at Melmar View.

Wonderful hotel and staff
The Melmar View is beautifully maintained, the staff are friendly and nothing is too much trouble for them. It is in a great location, in a small village just outside Fiscado, the views are wonderful with great sunsets by the pool. Rooms are spacious and spotless, we would highly recommend this hotel to anyone wishing to have a relaxing time in Kefalonia.

Lovely hotel with superb views
Wonderful stay in this excellent hotel,very clean in a beautiful position. The staff were very friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. Dinos the manager was always available and extremley helpful. Five minute walk to local taverna which serves good food, car required to visit local beaches and local village Fiscardo which is only aproximately five minute drive.

Lovely relaxing stay
We had a lovely, peaceful stay at the Melmar hotel. Dinos and his staff were very friendly and only to happy to help. Being at the top of the mountain you see the sunset in the evenings which is lovely. Very close to fiskardo and other desirable tourist sights. Would recommend anyone who needs a relaxing holiday to stay here.

Amazing Hotel!
Everyone was helpful and friendly and made you feel like family. The rooms were beautiful and clean. Pool area was also very nice and all the meals we ate in the restaurant were fresh and delicious.

Long weekend walking in Fiscardo
Very friendly and helpful hosts, great location for exporing the walking routes arouind Fiscardo and visiting local beaches. Hotel was lovely with a good few and good food, little market nearby was very convenient for food, lovely area would definitely visit again

Small, friendly and spotless
The staff were so friendly and Dinos the owner was very attentive. Fiskardo is a lovely fishing port with plenty of restaurants along the front however there is also a few by the hotel along with a couple of grocery stores, the food in the hotel is also of good quality. We had a car which you would need to get around and explore however a taxi to Fiskardo was 8 euros one way

Lovely hotel away from the madding crowd!
We had a fabulously peaceful week away. We decided not to hire a car and walked everywhere apart from using a taxi back from Fiscardo on two occasions; only 8 euros per trip. We saw a lot of the local countryside and secluded small beaches. Whilst at the hotel the pool beckoned. The staff were so helpful and for Dinos, nothing was too much as he was always on hand to ensure that our stay was perfect.

A little gem in Kefalonia
We had a great 10 day holiday at the Melmar View Hotel. The hotel is run to the highest standard. Dinos and his team run an excellent, friendly and efficient hotel. Dinos was helpful and hospitable from the moment we arrived, showing us around the hotel and making sure we were happy. The rooms are comfortable and exceptionally clean as is the whole of the hotel. The food is good and we had many an enjoyable evening in the bar and met some very nice people. The hotel is well situated and there are a couple of local restaurants and shops nearby. Dinos very kindly organised a local car hire for us when we decided to explore more of the island which is spectacular. Kefalonia and the Melmar View are both a great holiday destination in the north of the island and one we will certainly return to. Keep up the good work Dinos and team

Just Spectacular all around.
Our stay was phenomenal. We went as a family. The staff is unbelievable, they go out of their way to please you. You can see the sunset from the pool. Rooms are updated and clean. Hotel is a short car ride from Fiskardo. Fiscardo has plenty of restaurnats and shops for a nice evening stroll. Would definitely recommend renting a car to get around.

Absolutely wonderful, just what we were hoping for, fantastic setting with views across to the Paliki Peninsular. I room was perfect, immaculately clean and very comfortable. Dino's the owner was so welcoming and friendly and although he wasn't around when we checked in he made a point of seeking is out and checking everything was fine. Go it's fabulous you won't regret it!
