"I cannot fault the location at all. The area and the views from this hotel are stunning. My experience for this stay was very bad none the less. Here is a list of the problems I encountered in something like order of how concerning they were. Minor annoyances: -I am 6'2" and ~170lbs. The doors throughout the hotel are too short for me to walk through upright. This wouldn't have been as much of a problem if the door to our suite (102) would have been wide enough to walk through without turning sideways. They were double doors with only one of them having a knob. You can open the second only after you open the first and reach through to unlatch it from the inside. -The hot water lasted less than a minute in the shower. Our stay was during off-peak season so I am unsure if all the suites were even full and we could not get enough hot water to finish a single fast shower. Major Problems: -"

"It's supposed to be a boutique hotel for relaxing; the pool water should be warm, but it's unusable. It's certified at less than 5 degrees Celsius. Using it could cause hypothermia."

"We arrived at Grand View after having a bad experience at another place. What a difference we had here. The lady on reception (Sophia I think) was so welcoming and informative. We booked some activities with her. She had info about the island, beaches, places to eat and then got staff to show us to our room and take our luggage. The room was amazing. Spotless and spacious. The views were incredible and the balcony was a perfect finishing touch. We spent 3 nights in the lux suite and 3 nights in the honeymoon suite. Both were amazing so I'd recommend either. The staff were always on hand and couldn't do enough; from front desk, to cleaners, restaurant staff and maintenance. I didn't get the guys name who runs the pool bar and restaurant but he is an asset to the hotel. One of the best experiences of customer care, hospitality and their amazing use of the property they have. If I come back to Santorini, this is where I am staying. Take my advice and book here."

The location is perfect, close to town and great food spots, which made getting around very easy. I also really appreciated the convenience of the airport shuttle service. "We arrived at 10:30 p.m., and Manolis greeted us warmly with a beautiful Mercedes van and made sure we were comfortably settled into our room. The hotel is lovely and perfectly located, just a short walk from the center of Fira, with easy access to the market and many great restaurants. The owner is very friendly, and the two ladies who manage the rooms are extremely helpful, pleasant, and attentive. The tours arranged by the hotel were truly memorable and wonderful. Our seven‑day stay at the hotel was absolutely amazing from start to finish. The pool is a definite game‑changer—it’s very large, with plenty of areas for guests to sit back and relax, whether in the lobby, in front of the hotel, or around the pool area itself. There is also lots of parking space, which made everything even more convenient. Overall, a fantastic experience that we would highly recommend."
