Stunning location
The villa is amazing. All amenities included, except WiFi. There is an odd request for £50 for this after we booked. The WiFi doesn’t reach upstairs. The pool and gardens are regularly maintained and are beautiful. The view is stunning. It’s an out of the way location, so peaceful but you need a car. Many beaches a short drive away. The villa is well managed and any requests were dealt with immediately. Definitely recommend a stay here for a peaceful holiday.

Pure bliss off the beaten track
Perfect view of sea and mountains off the beaten track. Bit tricky to find but well worth it. The villa had everything you need and the manager responded to queries very quickly over WhatsApp . It was lovely waking up to the sound of the sheep and goats running past with their little bells. A car is a must and there’s lots to do in surrounding areas. Such a lovely holiday

Peaceful Paradise
Such a beautiful house in very well maintained gardens with large pool. Amazing views in every direction. We completely relaxed and barely dragged ourselves away from the pool. Great BBQ facilities and everything you need for an amazing relaxing holiday. Cannot fault it.

Relaxing Holiday
If you want a quiet, relaxing, first class holiday, this is for you. Lovely, well equipped Villa, superb infinity pool, really well kept gardens and absolutely fantastic views over the bay and the mountains. You need a car as the Villa is at the end of a 900 meter dirt track but that has its advantages as there is no passing traffic except maybe the goats and sheep! There are local tavernas and mini market but if you are prepared to go a little further afield there are lots of beaches, restaurants and shops within easy reach. We had a superb holiday and would not hesitate to go back (travel restrictions allowing)

Quaint Cretan Villa with a stunning view of the sea & mountains
Our family stayed for 2wks in Aug 2021. Kefalas The location is off the beaten track, and does require driving on rocky pathway (600m) from the nearest proper road, but it's well worth it. The location is absolutely breathtaking and secluded. Villa The villa itself is compact & comfortable, adequately clean, and yes there are insects if you leave food lying around like any place in a natural habitat - we weren’t too concerned, just be disciplined to clean the kitchen after use. Recommend storage of food in jars, Tupperware or fridge. The kitchen is small, and probably could do with an overhaul. All the rooms are AC fitted. TV had issues, but do you really need it on holiday? WiFi is not super fast but adequate, so was somewhat puzzling to have to pay extra… better include it from the beginning. The villa’s main electricity operates when a plastic card is inserted into a wall socket, with the main house keys tied together, locking the main door for the evening, meant the whole villa would go dark temporarily. Moreover, we couldn’t leave the dishwasher or the washing machine running while we were out, so plan to run these immediately back on arrival. Garden During the day, as it's high up on the hills, the sea breeze is comforting against the heat. If the beach waves are a bit rough due to strong winds, the villa’s garden pool is not a bad alternative. At night, low light pollution means you benefit from the spectacle of stars/Milky Way above you! Goats roam the neighbouring olive farms so if you’re an early bird, you may hear their bells. Infinity Pool is cool and always fresh as water supply trickling in, the villa and the garden is fully landscaped and irrigated. Our visit coincided with Figs and small Oranges being ripe - so combining it with cheese, was perfect snack. BBQ hut was very useful extension to the kitchen. Owner Pon, the friendly landlord is always readily available for help. We appreciated the 'hands’-on approach whenever we needed him - from detailed directions on arrival to where to go for dinner/shopping. You can’t help but be impressed by the care he gives to his villa/garden, especially compared to the surrounding harsh landscape and terrain… it really stand out as an oasis on top of the hill. Overall, we were extremely happy with the villa - If you’re looking for a chilled out family Villa, set amongst an unspoilt Cretan countryside, but with all the modern comforts, this is definitely the place to stay!

Home needs some love, outside view and pool are lovely
A beautiful view with a great outside patio. With that being said the inside of the home was dirty and smelly. There were ants in the kitchen and while watching TV an error message kept appearing, something about the wireless adapter. All channels were in German. Again, we loved the outside pool, view and grill area but inside of the home needs some work. Owner called me the day of making reservation and asked how many people were staying. Upon answering he said he has to charge extra for additional cleaning services. I did not understand this explanation as cleaning services are already included in the cost of the rental. After researching this same home for different dates with 4 guests, the price did not change. Had the home inside been cleaner, maintained and without insects we would have been much happier with our stay.

Lovely villa
The villa is in a very beautiful place with stunning views across the bay. When we arrived it was spotlessly clean with some really nice welcoming touches. Because of the location of the villa, views from the bedroom balconies (especially the sunrise, if you're up early enough) are beautiful. The grounds around the building are well maintained with apple, grapefruit and olive trees. The villa itself is clean and well equipped with all that is needed.The infinity pool is perfect for being in and looking across the bay. The outside kitchen/barbeque is perfect for a long lazy evening. Kefalas village is only a 20 minute walk away, with bars and tavernas, a kids playground and two supermarkets. The walk through the village especially at night back to the villa is something nice. Pon, the owner is a really nice person, we had niggling concerns over the pool (there was a morning of high winds which blew some surface soil into the water, not enough to make it unusable, it just didn't look very inviting), but with one phone call it was sorted with the pool man coming around the next day. Pon even phoning back to make sure it had been cleaned. Because of the Covid restrictions nowhere was especially busy, but that in an unusual way added to its charm. We would highly recommend this villa.

well maintained and presented all clean and servicable,only drawback no maid service midweek and having to take rubbish to nearest bins on main road, there was no rubbish bags for use in the kitchen or for the 2 bathrooms if every visitor purchased a roll of bags there would be hundreds of bags at the end of the year should really be supplied,you need a 4x4 to navigate the track as there is a large rock protruding in the last left hand turn towards property and as it was dark on our approach on arriving we bottomed out on it as we only has a city car.

Breathtaking views with an amazing pool and villa!
Where do I start?! We had such an amazing time at this beautiful three bedroom villa. The garden was beautiful on arrival, with fig, Apple and olive trees. The view was breathtaking, I had to pinch myself. Such an amazing setting in a remote location for true peace and quiet. Only the gentle sound of goat bells and crickets! The swimming pool is a great size, clean and lovely temperature. The children (7,5&1) were delighted to see the pool and many inflatables/toys kindly left by the owner for us when we arrived. They jumped straight in! In terms of other things that helped us as parents, was a great high chair, a proper sturdy comfortable cot and blackout shutters in all the rooms. Plastic cups and bowls and little forks for kids-could do with plastic plates too. The beds were sturdy and comfortable mattresses which make a huge difference once in holiday. Pon the owner helped us so much to enjoy the holiday, he arranged a rental car with a competitive price (with free child seats and additional driver-and no hidden costs!! ) He prepared the villa for the children with swimming pool toys, inflatables, games and even a Buggy for my 1yo! It was a bit old-but did the trick and saved us bringing one! (We carried on a beach trailer instead of buggy!) Pon responded to any queries we had and has a fantastic welcome team who would rush out to bring us things we needed, like an extra sheet or a broken item etc.... We were so impressed. When we arrived, it was late at night and we had bought a bag of Cheerios for breakfast.... but Pon has supplied a bowl of fresh fruit, long life milk, tea and coffee-which was so very thoughtful. The villa is down a windy/bumpy track-which is a little rustic-but only makes the location more special and secluded on arrival. The village is a 5 min drive away which has a couple of mini markets and two restaurants. One restaurants backs onto a park-so is ideal to relax whilst the kids play and you can watch them. Our favourite beach was Kalyves-at the far right side was a perfect location for kids as road was far away. The beach bars and tavernas are all along the beach. The water is clear and warm! We loved Almyrida beach too-far left of beach was a “baby pool” which was a shallow rock pool that the kids played in for hours-safe and sound! We loved our holiday and would highly recommend to families or to a few couples for an adult get away! Thank you to Pon-who went above and beyond!

Fantastiskt ställe!
Hade en jättebra semester i denna villa. Lugnt och tyst ställe, precis det vi ville ha på vår semester! Helt fantastik utsikt både mot havet och mot bergen! Rent i huset och lätt incheckning. Körde dit enligt GPS, så kan inte säga hur lätt väganvisningen är. Pon, ägaren, svarade snabbt på våra meddelanden och kom till villan med mera poolleksaker och frukt till barnen vilket uppskattades mycket. Sista vägen upp till villan hade vi inte några problem att varken köra på eller promenera ner till byn. Barnen i åldrarna 5 och 7 hade inte heller problem att promenera till byn i bara sandaler. Poolen är stor och där spenderad vi flera timmar varje dag. Vi lagade den mesta maten själva i villan på grund av allergier så kan inte säga något om restaurangerna i byn. Finns två små butiker där man kan handla det mesta dock ganska dyrt, men vi körde till Lidl för att storhandla och få ett bättre utbud. Kan varmt rekommendera denna villa och Pon som ägare. Tack!

Captivating Crete
We had a wonderful holiday in a beautiful villa, pretty gardens, amazing views of sea and mountains. The villa was clean and comfortable. The pool was immaculate and we enjoyed using the bbq. Hired a car, but didn’t really use it during the week as it took us 20 mins to walk to the village where there were 2 well stocked shops, helpful local people, and a choice of 3 restaurants. We had a minor issue with electricity in one bedroom, but this was fixed by our host straight away. The villa had lots of information about places to visit, but our surroundings were so beautiful, we didn’t feel the need to travel! We particularly enjoyed the evening and morning goat bells! Definitely somewhere we would recommend, and very much hope to go again.

Absolutely stunning location. Perfect for a very relaxing holiday.
We had a very relaxing holiday and the villa was lovely as described. The views are breathtaking and the location secluded and peaceful. The outside space of the villa makes it extra special as the pool is a good size and the pool area and gardens around the villa are very spacious and well kept. The bbq house is an extra bonus. A large car or 4x4 is recommended for going up and down the track to the villa as it’s a bit bumpy, but as we had a 4x4 it was fine for us. There are some lovely villages and beaches within easy driving distance and are documented in both the comments book (written by previous guests) and in the welcome pack provided. We tried out several of the recommended places and loved them all. Octopus bay was stunningly beautiful and the open air/ top restaurants in Almyrida overlooking the sea were our favourites. Pon the owner of the villa was easily accessible for any questions and provided excellent instructions for both getting to the villa and suggestions on a good local car hire company which we used. Overall we would highly recommend this beautiful villa for anyone looking for peace, quiet and tranquility. 10/10!!

Stunning location for a perfect family holiday
This villa is in a beautiful remote location with sea views and surrounded by mountains. It is very peaceful and the close neighbouring property is empty and the other neighbour is not too close. The pool is perfect with lots of toys for children and adults alike. There is lots of outdoor space to enjoy and provide shade. It is well landscaped and has a great bbq house. The villa has everything you need and is well equipped. It is acceptably clean, however would benefit from a thorough once over. There were some batteries missing from the aircon controls and bulbs missing from bedside lamps. An outside storage facility for bin bags would be useful, so the full bags weren't hanging around until the next trip to the communal village rubbish bins. We walked daily to Kefalas along the dirt track, bumpy in the car but we managed fine with our pushchair. 2 well-supplied shops; 2 friendly restaurants and 2 little parks perfect for the kids. The nearest beaches are a 10/15 minute drive, Almyrida is particularly pretty with a narrow sandy beach and shallow waters. The owner went above and beyond for us and this was really appreciated. A great value holiday, we would definitely return if we came back to Crete.

Opnieuw teruggekeerd, met andere familie. En opnieuw een overweldigende indruk van stilte en natuur. De hogere ligging zorgt voor verfrissende wind op warme dagen. En een nieuwe ervaring: cruisen op de zee met een kleine boot van Manolis uit Kefalas. Local leven, met zon, zee en bergen: niet te missen in deze leuke villa met mooi onderhouden zwembad. Our stay at this stunning villa.
The villa was magnificent and views were were breath-taking, especially in the evening.The swimming pool was very fun, we enjoyed it. The entire village was welcoming, the food was delicious and there were loads of things to see and do. It was a ten minute drive to Octopus bay, where you can see the coastal line of Crete. It was great holiday and we enjoyed it very much. Thank you for letting us stay at this villa!

Wunderschöne authentische Villa mit traumhaften Meerblick
Wir verbrachten eine wunderschöne entspannte Woche mit der Familie in der Villa in Kefalas. Das Haus ist geräumig und gemütlich eingerichtet, ebenso der Garten. Man hat einen atemberaubenden Blick auf das Meer und angrenzende Buchten und hat es mit dem Auto nicht weit zum Strand, in andere nette Städte oder zum Flughafen. Auch zu empfehlen war die Anreise im Frühling, da alles noch schön grün war und geblüht hat, wobei die Temperaturen noch recht angenehm waren. Des Weiteren muss ich nochmal ein großes Dankeschön an den Vermiter P. Logan aussprechen, der uns bei Fragen oder Problemen immer zur Seite gestanden ist! Sogar als einer unserer Mitreisenden seinen Schlüssel nach Abreise in der Villa vergessen hatte, wurde sich sofort darum gekümmert! Zusammengefasst war es durch und durch ein sehr schöner Urlaub, wobei die Unterkunft hierbei eine großes Stück beigetragen hat. Wir würden nächstes Frühjahr gerne wieder kommen!

Ondanks dat we dit jaar iets minder goed weer hadden hebben we wederom zeer genoten van ons verblijf in deze prachtig gelegen villa. Pon, de eigenaar onderhoudt de villa zeer goed zodat alles u-to-date is en blijft. Het feit dat we nu al een aantal keer deze villa met onze zoons hebben bezocht spreekt voor zich. Ieder heeft ruim voldoende privacy omdat ook elke slaapkamer een mooi groot eigen terras heeft. Wij verheugen ons nu alweer op een volgend bezoek!

A graet week in a wonderful Villa
We had a great week in this wonderful villa.we had holiday with our family of five adults and there was enough place to all. We enjoyed the pool and the view you have from the house. Everything was nice and clean, and we got quick answer from the owner if we had some questions. The directions to the villa, the owner send in advance, was very detailed and we had no problems to find the villa. Super. We can highly recommend this accommodation

Sehr schöne ruhig gelegenes Haus im traditionellen Baustil. Großer Pool mit wöchentlicher Reinigung. Guter Kontakt mit dem Vermieter. Tolle Taverne "Library" in Lakoutinara, nur 10 min Richtung Georgioupoli. Supermarkt in Kefalas mit sehr netter Dame.

Traumhaft schön!
Wir haben dieses tolle Haus zu sechst (3 Paare) bewohnt und es war perfekt für uns. Drei gleichwertige Schlafzimmer und zwei gut ausgestattete Badezimmer bieten ausreichend Platz und Komfort. Der Blick von Terrasse oder Balkon ist unbezahlbar schön. Dazu der große Pool, die schöne Terrasse und das Grillhaus. Man will gar nicht mehr weg. Einziges Manko ist die beschwerliche Anfahrt über den Schotterweg. Aber dafür hat man seine Ruhe. Gastgeber Pon war immer erreichbar und hilfsbereit, wenn Bedarf war.

Comment ne pas aimer cet endroit enclavé dans un écrin de nature ! Nous nous sommes sentis comme à la maison. Déconnexion totale avec le quotidien. Une vue à couper le souffle. Continuez de préserver cette belle nature. La compagnie de vos chers moutons nous a été très agréable ! Quant à vous Pon, merci de votre disponibilité à tout moment de la journée. Traumhafter Kreta-Urlaub
Wie waren 2 Wochen in Pons schöner Villa! Pin ist ein toller Gastgeber, obwohl er in London wohnt ist er immer erreichbar und kümmert sich! Sein Haus und sein Garten liegen ihm sehr am Herzen und vor allen Dingen, dass seine Gäste sich wohl fühlen! Das Haus ist etwas abgelegen, wir haben es aber, dank Pons Beschreibung, dann doch gefunden. Der Weg ist holprig, evt. beim Buchen des Mietwagens(erforderlich!) entsprechend planen! Dann kommt man auf das große gepflegte Grundstück und zum Haus mit einerAussicht, die einem den Atem raubt! Wunderschön!!! Das Haus ist ausreichend groß für 6 Personen und sauber, auch die Küche ist gut ausgestattet. Ein Highlight ist sicher der große Pool, der einmal wöchentlich gereinigt wird. Frühstück im Freien ist einfach toll, man kann sich nicht satt sehen! Absolut ruhig, nur Ziegen und Schafe kommen mit ihren melodischen Glöckchen regelmäßig am Garten vorbei. Einfach herrlich! Wer das Besondere abseits des Trubels sucht, ist hier genau richtig! Gerne kommen wir wieder, danke auch für den Willkommensgruß mit Obst, Wasser, Milch und Wein! Bis hoffentlich ganz bald, lieber Pon!!!

Schöne Villa in Top Lage
Wer die Abgeschiedenheit und Ruhe vom Alltag sucht ist hier genau richtig. Ist die etwas beschwerliche Anfahrt geschafft, wird man mit einem fantastischen Blick über die Küstenlinie mehr als entschädigt. Auf der anderen Seite sieht man die schneebedeckten Berge. Jeden Morgen wieder ein sehr schöner Anblick. Vermieter Pon ist ein sehr guter Gastgeber. Die Informationen zur Anfahrt und zum Aufenthalt waren sehr ausführlich. Außerdem ist er immer erreichbar und meldet sich zeitnah zurück. Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen und uns gut erholt. Sollten wir noch einmal nach Kreta kommen, werden wir unseren Urlaub gerne wieder in dieser Villa verbringen.

Super séjour dans cette fabuleuse villa, isolée dans une nature magnifique , avec une époustouflante vue sur la mer et la montagne. Les enfants ont adoré observer les chèvres et les escargots. La villa est équipée de tous les équipements nécessaires. Zone grillade au top ! Très beau jardin. Wifi dans toute la maison. Piscine superbe. Le propriétaire M.Pon Logan est adorable. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié les petites attentions laissées pour notre arrivée.

Insgesamt eine tolle Ferienvilla. Der Vermieter ist nicht vor Ort, kümmert sich aber schnell um alles und ist jederzeit erreichbar. Die Highlights sind sicher der tolle Ausblick und der Pool. Wir konnten den Ziegen zusehen und über dem Grundstück kreisen die beeindruckenden Gänsegeier. Die Zufahrt ist nicht ganz einfach aber auch kein größeres Problem. Wenn man wie wir im Herbst reist und es auch Regentage gibt, kann es allerdings etwas eng werden. Wir waren mit acht Personen da. Das Haus könnte ein bisschen Zuwendung vertragen, wir waren allerdings auch ganz am Ende der Saison da.

Die Villa, das Anwesen und der Blick auf Meer und Berge sind traumhaft schön.
Die Villa, das Anwesen und der Blick auf das Meer und die Berge sind noch schöner als es die Bilder bereits vermuten lassen. Der Infinity-Pool ist traumhaft, die Grillstation äußerst praktisch. Insgesamt eine malerische und idyllische Kulisse. Den ersten Kaffee oder den Sundowner sollte man oben auf einen der Balkone mit Blick auf die Ägäis genießen. Perfekte Villa, um zu zweit zu entspannen und die Seele baumeln zu lassen wie bei uns als Paar. Sicherlich aber auch sehr gut geeignet für kleinere Gruppen bzw. ein oder auch zwei Familien mit Kindern. Eine echte Oase. In der unmittelbaren Umgebung gibt es Geschäfte für das Nötigste. Wir würden aber empfehlen, bereits auf dem Hinweg von Chania einen ersten Großeinkauf in einem der größeren Supermärkte zu tätigen, damit man nicht direkt noch mal los muss. Und ich würde im Navigationsgerät Kefalas eingeben, das hilft enorm. Von dort ist es nicht mehr weit. Das letzte Stück zur Villa ist ein Schotterweg, in den man von der Hauptstraße bei Villa Natalie links einbiegt. Und dann wird man mit einer traumhaften Villa mit allem Komfort belohnt. Der Eigentümer ist extrem freundlich und stand bei Bedarf und auf Wunsch sofort und hilfsbereit per Telefon oder WhatsApp zur Verfügung. Wir haben die Zeit extrem genossen und uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Großartige Aussicht
Wir, 4 Erwachsene und 1 Kleinkind, hatten einen wundervollen Urlaub in Pons Villa. Der Kontakt mit Pon war zu jederzeit sehr gut. Per Mail, WhatsApp oder Anruf kann man ihn fast 24 Stunden am Tag erreichen und er kümmert sich umgehend, falls es Probleme gibt. Die Lage des Hauses ist einmalig, es gibt nur zwei direkte Nachbarhäuser. Eins davon ist unbewohnt und wird auch nicht vermietet. Die Aussicht ist unglaublich schön und man kann wunderbar den Sonnenaufgang genießen. Der Pool ist großartig! Die Straße zum Haus ist eher eine Schotterpiste, hier also vorsichtig fahren. Die Einrichtung war in Ordnung, einige Gegenstände müssten mal wieder ausgetauscht werden. Wir haben Pon eine Liste mit Dingen geschickt, die unserer Meinung nach ausgetauscht werden sollten (Beispiel: Duschvorhang, kaputte Töpfe usw). Dies soll wohl spätestens in der nächsten Saison passieren. Schön wäre es, wenn Mieter solche Mängel an den Vermieter weitergeben, da sich die nächsten sonst ärgern. Es kann nicht immer alles kontrolliert werden. Wir würden wieder kommen! :)

Toll gelegene Villa
Die Villa mit eigenem Pool ist fantastisch, die Lage unbeschreiblich schön. In den Bergen geht fast immer eine frische Brise, der Sternenhimmel ist grandios in der ansonsten völlig dunklen Umgebung nachts. Das Haus ist toll ausgestattet, das separate Grillhäuschen perfekt fürs Barbecue. Wir hatten sehr guten Kontakt zum Eigentümer, der uns jede Frage sofort und sehr hilfsbereit beantworten konnte. Wir kommen sehr gerne mal wieder!

Fantastische Erholung mit wunderbarer Aussicht
Die Lage des Hauses ist grandios, aber etwas versteckt gelegen, besonders wenn man wie wir im Dunkeln anreist. Doch wir wurden durch den fantastischen Ausblick, dem Pool, dem Wetter und dem Haus belohnt. Die Stille wurde nur vom Zirpen der Zirkaden und dem Blöken der Schaqfe und Ziegen unterbrochen. DasHaus bietet alles, was notwendig ist: Vollständig eingerichtete offene Küche, mit großzügigem Eß- und Wohnbereich, Klimaanlage, zwei Bäder und drei Schlafzimmer. Die Terrasse, der Grillplatz boten genug Platz auch im Schatten. Kleine Probleme wurden Dank der schnellen und unkomplizierten Kommunikation Pon Logan schnell gelöst. Kevalas ca. 1, 5Kilometer entfernt bietet zwei Tavernen, wo wir lecker und günstig gespeist haben. In Kevalas konnten wir kleinere Einkäufe erledigen und für den Großeinkauf ging es dann nach Chania oder Rethymnon. In Likotinarea findet sich ebenfalls eine Taverne, die preisgünstiges Essen bietet. Dabei ist der Wirt sehr freundlich. Ausflüge zu den Stränden und Sehenswürdigkeiten benötigen für die Strecken etwas längere Zeit als zu Hause, was an den Straßenverhälnissen ( enge, kurvenreiche Straßen ) liegt. Insgesamt haben wir uns alle ( 4 Erwachsene und 2 Kinder im Alter von 12 Jahren ) sehr gut erholt und kommen sicher nochmal hierhin zurück. Pon war ein großartiger Gastgeber.

Wunderbares Haus, netter und hilfsbereiter Gastgeber ergeben einen wunderbaren Urlaub
Wir waren 9 Nächte in Pon seinem Ferienhaus und es hätten im Nachhinein auch ein paar mehr sein können, weil es einfach echt wunderbar und hervorragend gewesen ist. Von Beginn an war der Gastgeber von immer erreichbar und hilfsbereit in allen Belangen. Das Haus und der Blick ist unserer Meinung nach immer eine Reise wert und ist einfach wunderbar. Die Anreise ist zwar auf den letzten Metern etwas anders als wir es in Deutschland gewohnt sind, aber auch überhaupt kein Problem. Das Haus, der Pool und alles drumherum ist ordentlich und gepflegt. Es fehlt einem an nix, was man für den täglichen Bedarf benötigt, um sich wie zu Hause zu fühlen. Man hat von sämtlichen Ecken des Hauses und des Gartenbereiches einen wunderschönen Blick aufs Meer. Das Haus liegt abgelegen von sämtlichem Lärm durch Straßen und Dörfern, wodurch einem ruhigen Urlaub nichts im Wege steht. Der Pool ist riesig und immer sauber. Es gibt massig Liegen im Außenbereich, sodass man jede Sonnenstrahlen in jeder Ecke erreichen kann, ohne jedes Mal mit der Liege wandern zu gehen. Im 5 Minuten entfernen Dorf gibt es Läden um sich mit dem nötigsten zu versorgen. Bis nach Georgioupolis sind es 20 Minuten Fahrt mit wunderschönem Blick über die Berge. Auch der Octupusbay mit seinem wundervollen kristallklaren Wasser ist nur 10 Minuten mit dem Auto entfernt. Ich kann diese Villa nur jedem empfehlen. Wir werden bestimmt wiederkommen. We stayed 2 weeks in the villa and we enjoyed every minute. It is a very nice and big house that comes with everything you need. The garden is very nice and well maintained. And the pool is simply awesome. Everything was very clean and during our stay the garden was trimmed once and the pool cleaned twice. The sourrounding is very quiet and you only hear the sheeps bells, birds and the bees buzz. The view towards the bay and on the other side snow covered mountains is simply breathtaking. The path to the house is a bit rocky and rough but we can highly recommend the place.

Geweldige week gehad in deze prachtige villa
We hebben een geweldige week gehad in deze villa. Bij aankomst waren we verrast, omdat het allemaal nóg mooier was dan we op basis van de foto’s hadden verwacht. Het prachtige uitzicht, de unieke ligging en het heerlijke zwembad. Elke slaapkamer heeft zelfs een eigen terras. De villa is verder echt van alle gemakken voorzien en ook de wifi werkte probleemloos. De villa is centraal gelegen waardoor je veel kanten op kunt (Chania, Rhethimnon, Imbros kloof, meer van Kourna). In het dorpje (15 minuten lopen) zijn twee supermarktjes. De zeer vriendelijke eigenaar is erg goed bereikbaar, en reageert altijd snel op vragen. We komen heel graag nog een keer terug naar deze heerlijke plek.

Wunderbare Villa in atemberaubender Landschaft!
Kreta im März 2022 Wir haben 14 sehr schöne Tage in dieser wunderbaren Villa verbracht. Wir sind zur Hochzeit unserer Tochter angereist und hatten von Regen, Schnee und Gewitter und dann wieder schönsten Sonnenschein alles. Pon ist ein sehr hilfsbereiter Gastgeber und hat uns mit reichlich Brennholz für die kalten Tage versorgt. Er war immer sofort erreichbar und hat sich um alle Probleme schnellstens gekümmert. Die Villa liegt abseits, ist mit dem Auto aber sehr gut zu erreichen. Man kann auch ins Dorf spazieren, aber nach den Regenfällen war es nicht zu empfehlen den Feldweg zu laufen. Der Ausblick über die Bucht und die Berge ist einfach atemberaubend. Wir würden wiederkommen! Crete in March 2022 We spent 14 very nice days in this wonderful villa. We came to our daughter's wedding and had everything from rain, snow and thunderstorms to beautiful sunshine. Pon is a very helpful host and provided us with plenty of firewood for the cold days. He was always available immediately and took care of all problems as quickly as possible. The villa is off the beaten track, but easily accessible by car. You can also walk into the village, but after the rains it was not recommended to walk along the dirt road. The view over the bay and the mountains is simply breathtaking. We would come back!

Großer Pool mit schönem Außenbereich.
Insgesamt hatten wir eine sehr schöne Woche in Pons Ferienhaus. Das Haus ist problemlos zu finden, wenn man die Koordinaten in Google Maps eingibt. Von Georgipouli geht es in Serpentinen hoch in die Berge. Das letzte Stück ist eine Schotterpiste, aber mit einem "normalen" Mietwagen noch gut zu fahren. Herausragend ist natürlich der Pool und Gartenbereich des Hauses. Dazu die sehr ruhige Lage und Super Aussicht in die Bucht und auf die Berge. Einiges vom Inventar in der Küche und an der Grill Station ist in die Jahre gekommen, aber noch funktionsfähig. Da wir gerne auch mal selber kochen, hätten wir uns generell mehr Inventar für die Küche gewünscht. Pon ist ein sehr guter Gastgeber, gut erreichbar und hat bei den kleinen Problemen die wir hatten, immer schnell eine Lösung gefunden. Im nächsten Dorf, Kefalas (ca. 10-15 min. Fußweg) gibt's zwei kleine Supermärkte, falls man beim Einkauf was vergessen hat. Die nächsten größeren Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Strände sind ca. 20 Autominuten enfernt.

Villa
La villa est magnifique. La vue générale de la mer, des montagnes et du lever de soleil est incroyable. La piscine est de bonne taille pour profiter un maximum pendant les chaleurs. Seul petit bémol, la villa est compliqué d’accès, une voiture est obligatoire car elle est éloignée de tout. Idéale pour des vacances au calme. L’hôte est vraiment gentil et très réactif. Il n’hésite pas à se déplacer en cas de problème. Villa à conseiller.

Très bon séjour dans cette magnifique villa !
La villa est parfaite, propre , agréable, climatisée...Il y a des jeux de piscine à disposition. La vue est magnifique et la piscine toujours propre et rafraîchissante. Nous avons pu visiter Chania, Réthymnon, les gorges d'Imbros, le lac de Kournas avec ses 🐢, rando de chorasfakion à Loutro... Le seul gros souci a été pour nous le chemin d'accès à la villa qui nécessiterait d'être refait. Nous avions peur d'abîmer notre voiture de location . Il faudrait un 4×4... Sinon tout était parfait!

Semaine de vacances idéale en Crete
La magnifique maison est située dans un petit village charmant Kefalas , avec les commodités essentielles : épiceries / tavernes etc.. Nous avions choisi le lieu comme base de départ pour visiter l’ouest de la Crete .A ce titre, elle est placée à un emplacement stratégique qui permet de rayonner à 1h 1h30 de plein de sites et de plages différentes / sans se retrouver dans la cohue ( relative …) de Chania . Les points forts de cette location : - la piscine affleurente extraordinaire avec vue mer - la qualité de la maison toute en pierres et son jardin fleuri - le calme qui nous laisse à penser que l’on est au bout du monde - le niveau d’équipements - rien ne manque .. Clim /lave linge / lave vaisselle / relax / parasols / jusqu’à la glacière pour emporter les piques nique - la gentillesse et la disponibilité du propriétaire M P Logan- merci à lui - que nous avons eu au téléphone plusieurs fois - le choix des plages à 20min de voiture max : Giorgiopoli / Kalyves / lac de Kournas … Bref .. choix idéal sans fausse note pour passer des vacances géniales

De parel van Kreta!
De villa van Pon is een bezoek meer dan waard! Een villa in een fantastische omgeving en veel privacy. Het uitzicht met onbelemmerd uitzicht over de zee is werkelijk senationeel. Ook is het grote zwembad echt een pluspunt. De villa ligt vlakbij Kefalas een authentiek dorpje met prima taverna's met kwalitatief goede gerechten. Vanwege de gunstige ligging komen wij al heel wat jaren in deze streek. De villa van Pon is echter absoluut onze favoriet, dit is mede te danken door het gastheerschap van Pon zelf! Dit jaar is de villa flink onder handen genomen. Alles is mooi geverfd, prima nieuwe matrassen en keukeninrichting. Last but not least: Perfect werkende WiFi welke door de versterker ook op de boven verdieping en in de tuin een goede verbinding geeft.

Kurzfristiger Traumurlaub!
Tolle Villa, total abgelegen und ruhig. Wer die Natur Kretas liebt, ist hier richtig. Ab und zu Schafe und Ziegen. Total nette Nachbarn und jederzeit eine Terverne zu Fuß in 25 min zu erreichen. Einkaufsmöglichkeit ebenfalls. Wir kommen wieder. Pon ist absolut hilfsbereit und freundlich. Jederzeit erreichbar und kommunikativ. Wir haben und mehr als wohl gefühlt. Danke für alles. Traumhafter Urlaub
Gleich vorweg das einzig Negative. Das Objekt ist nicht einfach zu finden. Aber dieser empfundene Minuspunkt ist auch einer seiner Pluspunkte. Durch die abgelegene Lage am äußersten Rand des Dorfes Kefalas ist diese Villa in der Natur Kretas auch echt ruhig gelegen. Das große Grundstück ist liebevoll und klug angelegt. Palmen, Orangenbäume, Aprikosen, Feigen, ein gepflegter Rasen, der einem Teppich gleicht, reichlich Stellplatz für einige Mietwagen, eine große Sonnenterasse direkt vor der Eingangstür und ein Pool, der seinen Namen verdient. 4x10m und die Tiefe steigt von 170 bis 150 cm an, so dass man schwimmen kann. Die 3 Schlafzimmer, 2 Bäder, Küche alles sauber und gut aufgeräumt. Das tollste aber war der Blick. Geradeaus auf eine Bucht. Sicht bis Rethymno möglich. Im Rücken der Blick auf die weißen Berge. Bei Problemen (bei uns nur kleinere Dinge) konnten wir den Besitzer Pon, der in London lebt, kontaktieren und der kümmerte sich schnell und brachte es immer fertig, dass nach kürzester Zeit Mängel nicht mehr existierten. Und wenn man dann Abends im Dunkeln mit einem Ouzo und einem Glas Wein, bei Kerzenschein auf einer der Terrassen im 1. Stock „unserer“ knapp 300m hoch gelegenen Villa auf die Lichter des langen Strandes von Georgiopoli schaut, oder den klaren Sternenhimmel betrachtet, dann ist der Urlaub perfekt. Wir konnten uns häufig nur ganz schwer in unseren 14 Tagen Aufenthalt entscheiden, an den Strand zu fahren. Gerne kommen wir wieder!

das sind schon mal die 3 wichtigsten Dinge eines Hauses. Ein vollkommen ruhiger Platz, perfekt zum Abschalten! Mit etwas Glück kann man von der Terrasse aus Adler beobachten. Der Garten bietet Schattenplätze unter Palmen. Die Aussicht von den Balkonen auf Berge und Meer ist phantastisch. Im Garten stehen schöne Orangenbäume, im Oktober leider noch nicht reif. Man kann zu Fuß ins Dorf gehen, für den Biomarkt oder eine Taverne, Der Weg von der Hauptstraße zum Haus ist etwas rumpelig, aber wir hatten schon Schlimmeres. Man ist aber auch in 10 Autominuten am Meer oder bleibt am blitzsauberen Pool mit Grillhaus. Das ziemlich dicht stehende Nachbarhaus, ist unbewohnt und steht zum Verkauf, stört also nicht, der andere Nachbar ist weit genug weg, sonst gibt es in der Nähe nichts, also auch keine sonst allgegenwärtigen Hunde, die einem schon mal das Leben und die Nachtruhe schwer machen können. Pon der Vermieter kümmert sich bei Fragen sofort. Das Haus ist sauber, gepflegt und gut ausgestattet. Uns hat der Aufenthalt sehr gut gefallen und kommen gerne wieder.
