We splurged on the deluxe suite as it was our honeymoon, and as fantastic as it looks in the photos, it is so much more! We could have fit a family of 5 in that space! It’s almost a 2-bedroom, with a spare room between the bedroom and the living room with what looks like an L-shaped bed, but it’s more like a sofa. Additionally, there are 2 separate bathrooms! (but sadly the starlights have been removed) Full kitchen with mini fridge, spacious living room, and the perfect bedroom cave for a dark night’s sleep.
You can sit outside and people-watch among the beautiful white homes of Oia, or turn take in the Caldera view that constantly took my breath away. I will say though, the hotel is building a new suite to the left of the suite, and this will be obstructing the view of Oia on the left side. Too bad, but there’s still more than enough to see.
A few things didn’t work - the satellite was out (but fixed on our last day), and the shower button was sticky, and housekeeping was a bit odd sometimes, but all in all everything was great. The customer service was really amazing, were always prompt to answer the phone and to send someone over to fix any issues, and arranged our transportation to the airport.
Overall, massive and beautiful suite, soothing hot tub, stunning view, and fantastic customer service. If I’m back in Oia, I’ll be coming here again!
