Be prepared to walk a steep hill to get to the bus stop and shops etc. We should have hired a car as taxis are 30 euros to get to the main bus terminal for the beach. The stop for oia isnt far from the hotel but the other buses are at the top if the mountain. We walked a lot of the time so make sure you have flat shoes even for going out in the evenings.

The staff was outstanding! The location was farther out than I expected. Walking on the roads into town seemed VERY dangerous. We ended up renting an 4 wheeler for transportation around the island. The 4 wheeler was so much fun.

Great location with stunning views of the eastern side of the island. Sunrise on the patio overlooking the Aegean Sea ftw! The staff exceeded all expectations, with the best breakfast we had in Greece served to order each morning on our deck. Imerovigli allows for easy access to all the spots on the island, without the crowds.

Great location to stay in Santorini
This hotel was in a great location within walking distance to Fira (15 minutes) and Imerovigli (5 minutes). Also had a bus stop about 200 metres down the road that takes you straight to Oia. The Hercules suite was well-furnished and had amazing views of the eastern side of the island. The bed was comfortable and the lounge/kitchenette area was great. The only downside was that the hot water was temperamental and did not work 2 of the 4 mornings we stayed at Belle Etoile. The pool was nice (although smaller in person than expected) and staff were lovely. We would definitely stay here again for the convenience and views. Do note though that to walk anywhere there is limited pathways and you will need to walk on the road. That goes for most places in Santorini though, except inside the main towns themselves.

Superb
Overall it was excellent experience. Location was good, few minutes away from touristic area with tons of restaurants and shops. The staff would arrange tours and even a car rental for you that will deliver the car to the apartment and you can also return it there, so very convenient and easy. Free parking right in front of the property. The included breakfast was very complete and had multiple options to choose from, it was always delivered right on time. Room was excellent in every aspect, very spacious and great bathroom. Staff extremely attentive, really 100% recommended.

They kept trying to charge me for things I never got (food at the pool, a beer from the minibar). Plus also pushed tours which I don’t appreciate. Nice view however even though it is in one of the bigger towns, the location is inconvenient as there are a ton of dead end roads and big hills where you feel like you could get hit by a car at any moment

Mixed but fine overall
I don’t think I’d chose this hotel if I returned to santorini (I’d spend a bit more for something with a caldera view probably - up to like $50/night more if that helps?) but it wasn’t a bad hotel. Some thoughts: - Not caldera view and 10-15 min uphill walk to imerovigli (where there are restaurants, markets and caldera view) but still a pretty sea view from rooms and pool at Belle Etoile - comfortable bed - Shower could use a ledge or something (nowhere whatsoever to put toiletries) - Pool area is a bit stark and depressing . A bit of landscape design /flowers etc or some colorful umbrellas - At first I thought the bucolic farm view was charming but grew depressed seeing the horses tied up in the sun all day without water or the ability to move. Not the hotel’s fault but if you’re sensitive about that kind of thing it might get to you - It’d be a perfect spot particularly if you’re renting a car bc there’s parking and it’s right in the middle of the island. I didn’t rent a car so it felt a bit isolated. But overall i was pleased with what I got for the money given the price of accommodations in Santorini.

Hotel staff are extremely helpful and efficient. The room was exceptionally clean with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Great views and pool. You really need a car as the walk to the town at night can be a bit dangerous as no pavement or lights.

Perfect for our stay
This property ended up being exactly what we needed. It is clean, spacious, all the extras you need (shampoo, soap, dishes etc.). The view from our room was great (although is a sunrise view and we thought it would be a sunset view). The pool and bar area and service were great. The staff were attentive and helpful. Breakfasts were yummy. One note - the property offers privacy (away from the beaten path), but is a bit of a walk (no sidewalks) to get to the nearest town (Imerovigli) or the town bus. It is really best if you rent a scooter/ATV or car at this property. Overall...great experience and well worth the money.

Boutique hotel away from the hustle and bustle
This hotel was located about 5 min walk from Imerovigli town. The staff here are extremely helpful at recommending restaurants and places to visit. I would definitely recommend hiring an ATV as Santorini is not very pedestrian friendly outside of Fira. Rooms were spacious and the breakfast was perfect out by the pool with a view. Amazing view of the other side of Santorini not the caldera. The hotel is family owned and run and the you get a real sense of Greek hospitality. Try to do one of the yacht tours of the caldera as it is a worthwhile experience. Would recommend a stay here to sure!!

Quaint Hotel!
I really love the staff at Belle Etoile Villas. They were quite helpful in arranging for a cab to pick me up after concierge hours and making me an early breakfast prior to my 6 am departure to the airport. The apartment was lovely and the jacuzzi was in good working order. It's located in a quaint, quiet area so I got a restful sleep. It's not too far from the downtown area. The staff showed me the bus route downtown. Also, they can arrange for outings around Santorini if you haven't already planned anything.

Charming Bed & Breakfast with a great view!
So this is more of a bed-and-breakfast style hotel... we did not know that when we booked it, but it ended up being a great surprise! The staff provided 5-star service! Avi and Nellu are the best! They helped us book great excursions and provided expert advice and recommendations. The breakfast each morning was superb, and the view was amazing. We had the honeymoon suite, with a private Jacuzzi and it was a great experience! Would recommend to any couple visiting Santorini

Great place to stay in Santorini
We loved our time at Belle Etoile Villas. The room was very spacious and comfortable. The views were amazing. The location was great if you have a car or atv. It is located on main road but away from busy traffic and noise. The breakfast in room was nice and could be enjoyed on large balcony. Should we ever be back in Santorini we will definitely stay there again.

Fabulous hotel, wonderful views
Friendly, helpful family run property. Great location in between imerovigili and Fira. Modern, large clean rooms with huge balconys and wonderful views across the sea. Small pool with comfortable loungers. Tasty breakfasts with plenty of choice and nice to enjoy it on your balcony. Wouldn't recommend the hotel booked transfer. The transfer is not private, we had to wait for people to arrive from 2 different flights before we could leave and stop at 3 different properties. On the way home the driver ran out of petrol and we had to transfer to a different van. Would definitely recommend the hotel and would love to stay again!

Great little bed & breakfast kind of a place ... the owners & workers were very nice. They helped us organise to rent a car etc. Nice view from the pool deck & they have a snack menu which is convenient (though there is only 1 person working at the pool so be aware if it is lunch time & there are others you may need to wait a while). Beautiful view of the caldera. Bus stop is only a 5 min walk & the town about a 10-15 min walk. You feel like you are in the middle of no where but if you are happy to walk a little or are panning on hiring a car it is a great place to stay . Room was very nice, spacious & clean. Air con good. Only downfall is we had pre arranged transfers via email to pick us up from the ferry & no one was there when we arrived. When we called they said they had not arranged anything. This was the main disappointment as we wasted an hour at the port waiting. Luckily we managed to get a taxi (which arent always easy to find in santorini). So make sure you triple confirm if you arrange transfers through them. The shower in the room also makes a mess as there is no door so water goes everywhere. We took our pool towels back to the room with us to dry up the floor after we showed. They serve you breakfast in your room each morning at your chosen time, which is great but it was small servings so dont expect too much.... overall it was a great place to stay. Thanks.

A car or other means of transportation is needed for this hotel. There is no pavement and roads are too narrow ro walk, nobody does either. Room is OK but the shower was awful with no door and a massive mess every time is used. Breakfast was generous but average, all three days was exactly the same which is not a problem when is delicious, not the case here.

Great hotel! The staff is very friendly, she answered all of our billion of questions. Super modern and updated rooms. Nice view. About a 20 min ATV/car ride to Oia and max 10min ride to Fira and like 20-25 min ATV ride to Perissa. They served breakfast in the morning to your room which is awesome and the beds are so comfy. Would definitely stay here again!

We,three canadians, absolutely loved the place! When we booked, we did not realize the hotel was on a slope facing the east side of the island, but it was nice to wake up to the sunrise and enjoy breakfast on the terrace. Although there is a busy road behind the hotel, the place was surprisingly quiet. But walking the first 500m on that road to get to the caldeira was no fun - and driving was hell too. (Think twice before renting a car, the roads are extremely narrow - 4wheelers are no better because of their noise - all should be forbidden, really!!!). We spent an afternoon by the pool and were pleased that they allowed us to play some music other than the spa music that was playing then. Overall, amazing value.

Lovely clean family based accomodation
Lovely hotel based within easy driving distances of all the sites, best to hire a car or bike to see the sites. The Villa is on the otherside of Imervigli so we didnt get the sunset view, but we always we out at this time seeing the sunset from the many vantage points on the island so this wasnt to much of a concern. Breakfast always ontime, and can recommend the greek yoghurt and the small grapes in syrup that you get from the bar. Drinks at the bar expensive but thats not unusual. On one of the main roads that leads to Fira so a fair amount of trafficnoise, but slept soundly in spite of this. Can recommend this Villa for 2/ 3 couples, or a family as the rooms and kitchen area spacious with views of the pool area from the balcony. The two sisters who run this Villa are lovely and very helpful. "Kalimera"

Nice hotel but our hosts were very "young".
Previous reviews raved about how helpful the two sisters are who run this hotel. Our experience was very different. They are probably in their early to mid twenties and just weren't very professional or polished. We had to ask for sheets etc.for one of to sleep on a couch in the living room. It was chilly but there were no instructions on how to use the room heaters. We eventually figured it out through trial and error. Breakfast was 15 minutes late the first morning. Coffee was cold both mornings. Maybe they were just tired of dealing with tourists so they didn't have their A-game on in late November. I think we were the only guests in the place and I think they would have preferred the property to be empty. Decent property for a family vacation, but very casual hosts.

Pros: - Breakfast is great, and is delivered to your room at a time of your choice - The rooms are very big and clean - Parking available - Wifi worked well Cons: - The hotel is not located on the nice side of the island (the one you see in all the photos). It has a very baron/dusty outlook - This side of the Island is extremely windy because it is unprotected. - Due to this wind we couldn't use the pool for the entire duration of our stay - it was just far too uncomfortable. - You can't really walk anywhere as you are very far away. So you will need to factor in the price of a car/scooter into your trip. - The closest town is Imergevili. On the map it looks close, however there is no walkway for people - so you will walk on a narrow road with incoming traffic for 15 minutes. - The shower goes between hot/cold and the pressure is very weak. - This is a B&B - not a hotel, so it lacks the professionalism that a hotel generally has. If I come to Santorini again I would choose to stay on the other side of the island. This wasn't a bad stay, but it definitely wasn't one of the best.

Im very sorry for the weather but i would like to inform you that the autum is windy and cold many times. If you want to visit again Greece for the warm weather come back the summer season ( June, July & August) On google map the distan is 12 minutes.

This hotel has a lot going for it. I was greeted really kindly and the room I have (Pegasus Suite) was massive! I really loved the pool area as well. The staff was very kind, and even gave me free wine and fruit once. Also, the breakfast is amazing! You can pick anything you want (I ate enough for 2 people each morning, and they didn't mind), and it's so wonderful to eat it out on the balcony. There were a few things that weren't so great. First, the WiFi was very bad. Because I had a lot of work to do on this trip, I confirmed in advance that they had good WiFi, but this was not the case. It was so bad that I lost business because of it on the trip. Also, I did not feel safe walking from the hotel to the main town (Thira). The road is not made for pedestrians. As I do not drive, this because an issue for me, and I even skipped dinner one night because I could not get around. It was also impossible to shower without getting water everywhere! That said, I really loved my room and the view and the breakfast, so if you'll be driving and don't care about WiFi, this may be the perfect hotel for you!

Beautiful Views in Newly Renovated Quaint Hotel
Newly quaint renovated hotel with beautiful views and good wifi. Breakfast service was excellent and the rooms clean and spacious. I recommend hiring a car as it would make a difference in visiting the many beaches and sites around the island. there is also adequate free parking across the street from the hotel in mid-August 2016. Highly recommended alternative if you plan to hire a car as it is a bit out of the way and halfway between the airport and the outrageous prices of Oia hotels.

Had an absolutely amazing time. Belle Etoiles Villas is a short walk (less than 10 minutes) away from the beautiful village of Imerovigli - we loved that it was a little away from all the other hotels and apartments, it felt like our own little piece of paradise. All the staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful and the whole property is kept in impeccable state of cleanliness.

The hotel is average in everything and surely can't be categorized as first class The rooms are very dull and poorly furnished.The location also is not good and surrounding is poor

excellent hotel close to everything
We stayed at Belle Etoile Villas. This hotel villa made our experience in Santorin so special. With incredible views and night panoramas of Santorin, prime view for sunrises, every attention to detail, outstanding care to service, Greek hospitality like no other and generous hosts, as well as spacious accommodation with everything you could ask for. From the wonderful pool to the room delivered breakfast, at your choice of time, makes for a perfect place to relax and enjoy Santorin in the most beautiful surroundings. 5* Service, Perfect location, Fabulous Holiday
Having researched in depth prior to travelling on this holiday, one of the reasons I chose this hotel was down to its excellent reviews on service. It certainly lived up to the reviews and exceed my expectations. The Hotel Location The hotel is situated in my opinion in the perfect location on this island, being centered in the middle of all tourist places. Close to Fira which is the main town and still easy access to all beaches and Oia. The Service This hotel is run by two wonderful sisters, 'Bella and Agvi' who spent most if not all of their time taking care of their guests. The hotel is clean, breakfast is amazing and usually spoilt for choice! This was by far one of my best holidays to date, and if and when I go back I will be staying at this wonderful hotel. Sandy
