"We walked into our room it was dirty with dust, a broken window and it rained while we were there and the roof leaked we asked for another room and were told the were full when clearly they were not, we had no power for over 4hours they had no backup generator we asked at 4pm if the restaurant would be open and they said yes we went at 7pm only to be told it was closed it was too late to drive into town to get something to eat so we had snacks we brought along with us, unfortunately there was no...

"We had a great stay at Moorcroft for two nights. Couple of tips: 1) Exit at Howick off N3 as the roads are paved, 2) Bring rain gear as it rained quite a bit when we were there, 3) Aim to arrive before sunset as it gets quite dark on the roads, 4) The kitchen closes at 8:30 p.m. and there aren’t too many options nearby. "Very lovely place. The room was perfect. The service great. Love the wood in the bar area and the peacock family that greeted us each morning. "

The gyser was not working and this was on a 9degree Celsius weather where we had to take a night and morning cold shower. Supper was a disaster: upon arriving at 7pm, we were told there’s no food as they had hosted a group of people earlier and couldn’t cater for us. We managed to get...
