Charming Log Cabin on Private Pond Nestled in Woods Near Holiday Valley Resort

My charming log cabin sits on 100 acres of private land which adjoins 2200 of New York State Forest. It overlooks a small pond that is stocked with bass. You are welcome to catch a few and cook them fresh on the gas grill. The front porch is comfortable with beautiful views of the pond, hills, and the valley below.

It is a cozy cabin with a sleeping loft and comes with a fully equipped kitchen and a shower. The loft has a queen size bed and the first floor has a double futon.

The sleeping loft is reached via a narrow metal spiral staircase.

Bring your bicycles in the summer or your cross-country skis or snowshoes in the winter or your hiking boots year round, as the state forest is full of groomed trails. Or bring your books and just relax and enjoy your surroundings.

There is a fire pit for cool evenings or just to enjoy while relaxing.

We are only 12 minutes from Ellicottville, New York which is a quaint little ski and resort town. You can ski in the winter or golf in the summer. There are world-class restaurants for fine dining and wonderful shopping. Take advantage of all that this enchanting area has to offer. I have some of the highlights listed below.

This adorable cabin was the perfect location for a weekend getaway in the mountains! It was cozy, quiet, and the view was absolutely beautiful in the fall. The cabin is tucked far enough away in the forest to truly feel at peace in nature, yet still only a short drive to several little towns with many things to do. Our only issue was that the bed in the loft was very uncomfortable. We actually ended up sleeping on the couch the second night because it was more comfortable than the bed. Otherwise it was a great stay!

Amazing little cabin nestled in the woods. Everything you need is provided by the accommodating host. Sitting on the porch overlooking the private stocked pond is as peaceful as it gets. Thousands of acres of State Forest land nearby to explore. We will return as 3 days / 2 nights was not enough.

Beautiful cabin in the woods.

My wife and I stayed for a ski weekend. Communication with the owner was excellent throughout our stay. Property is in a beautiful, quiet location and has everything you need for your stay. The weather was very cold during our stay so the cabin was on the cool side but sleeping loft was comfortable. We would definitely stay here again!
