The food truck for lunch and snacks was the best eatery on the property.

Our stay at Cocobay was truly wonderful. The location is absolutely beautiful, with stunning views and a gorgeous beach that never felt crowded. Our bungalow was lovely, very comfortable, and spotlessly clean, as was the rest of the resort. The food was a standout. Every meal was excellent, thoughtfully prepared, and consistently enjoyable. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and genuinely kind, which made the experience even better. One thing to be aware of is the entry road to the resort. It is in very rough shape. If you plan to rent a car, I strongly recommend considering a 4x4 rather than a small vehicle like the Vitz we had. Overall, a fantastic experience in a beautiful setting. We would happily return. This room with the attached pool and daybed was what we were looking for. My wife enjoyed the use of the outdoor tub the most. Other hotels on the island lacked these amenities, this is why we chose this hotel for our stay. The room was immaculately clean, this includes the bed, sheets, shower, and toilets. Restaurant service and food quality left something to be desired. The restaurant staff seemed unprepared at times and unorganized at others. The lone restaurant serves all 3 meals, breakfast options are the same each day with a different special each day. The food quality was sub-par to what I am accustomed to/expect for the price point. I don't advise getting any of the food centered add-ons (floating breakfast, sushi, etc), until someone else can affirm the food gets better. On our last night we decided to get the steak regardless of the added surcharge and it was very disappointing. It was the cheapest and thinnest cut of meat and was woefully overcooked. Your experience may be different, hopefully. I advise getting to the allocated meal hours early as possible, that's when we got the best service. We did the "Blissful Escape" couples massage - I enjoyed my session (Shout out to Nadia), my wife who's accustomed to getting massages at the spa wasn't all that impressed. It comes down to personal preference and the masseuse you get/request. If you're driving there's ample parking, your vehicle and belongings are safe as it is a gated access with 24hr security.

Everything especially the staff.And the food was amazing

I stayed from the 13th to the 16th of November, 2025. The ambience and most of the staff are amazing. However, on my birthday, I went to their Italian à la carte restaurant and the experience was utterly the worst. We arrived at the Italian restaurant 10 mins before our reserved time and were seated 10 minutes after. Our order was not taken until almost half an hour after we were asked by one of the young ladies there. Our appetiser arrived approximately 45mins after which our main course proceeded about 5mins after. However, the server then told us they had forgotten what we had ordered for dessert (keeping in mind our order was written down). We told her not to bother. When we were leaving my friends', I noticed that many of the staff were gathered in a room chatting and laughing. I was disheartened because it was supposed to be my birthday celebration, and the staff served everyone else besides us, even customers who came in after us got their meals before us.
