Nice basic hotel with good breakfast
Good basic hotel in a nice central location in Gråsten. I was generally satisfied. The room was very small though. There was minimum floor space for luggage and it was very har to pass between the bed and the cupboard. But apart from that I was very satisfied and would stay there again. Breakfast was nice and staff friendly

Great stay
Working in travel retail I had to be close to german border, but still in a nice area where I could relax once off work. This fit my needs very well. Rooms are not big, but they are clean and updated, great soft beds and best of all is location - right in front on the ‘Gråsteen Castle’ you can take 15 steps down and sit by the lake, enjoying the view. Service is top, great selection on breakfast buffet especially during weekends, and very kind staff. They made me an off menu Vegan dish, and did a great job, very accomodating and always ready to help. Definitely will recommend!

Great little hotel. Peculiar in a good way - rooms are named, not numbered. Food is good, staff are great. Right in the middle of town, next to a lake and a royal palace. Comfortable room, great shower.

I think the Hotel was better than 3.5 star
I think the Det Gamle Rashus was not an only clean and quiet but very beautiful. The staff members were very helpful and always welcomed me with a warm smile. And the food was great, my compliments to the chefs. I stayed two weeks and I was very happy and comfortable during my stay. I hope to visit again soon

Vi vender aldrig tilbage til dette hotel
Vores besøg lå i oktober. Der var ingen varme på i lejligheden. Vi bad om at få varme på i receptionen, og ganske kortvarigt kom der varme på, før der blev lukket igen. Vi sad med vores dyner omkring os i den afskallede hvide plastiksofa og prøvede at holde pinen ud med duftlys, så lugten af fugt ikke var nær så gennemtrængende. Den absolut værste hoteloplevelse nogensinde. Sengene var egentlig fine, hvis man altså kunne sove for støjen fra grillbarens køleanlæg (?) nedenunder lejligheden. Men rengøringen var OK og receptionisten gjorde, hvad hun kunne. Morgenmaden var også OK.
