Our hotel is located in the quiet and idyllic village of Rottau, near Grassau. From the hotel, you can enjoy the magnificent natural landscape and explore the most beautiful hiking trails. Lake Chiemsee, also known as the “Bavarian Sea,” is just 4 km away. On our sun terrace, you can enjoy a wide variety of specialities with friendly service and exquisite cuisine. We are especially known for our fish dishes. The fish is sourced from certified organic suppliers—quality that is reflected in the flavour. We also serve traditional regional dishes, as well as gluten-free and vegetarian options.
You’re also welcome to spend your holiday with us along with your dog. Our hotel dog is always happy to see other dogs. We charge EUR 12 per night for your pet, not including food.
Enjoy our Hochgern holiday apartment on the 2nd floor—which, upon request, can also include the amenities of a hotel. You have the option to book breakfast or just a bread roll service. In the evening, you can cook a cosy meal in the apartment or dine in our restaurant. Holiday apartment with shower, toilet, hair dryer, pull-out couch, fully equipped kitchen, refrigerator, stove, coffee maker, washing machine, dryer, dishwasher, separate living room and bedroom, sleeper sofa, box-spring bed, balcony, cable flat-screen TV, hardwood floors, bed linens, and towels (changed after one week). Coffee pods for your first cup with our Senseo machine are provided, as well as a small basic supply of dish soap, laundry detergent, tea towels, and cleaning supplies. The highlight of this apartment is the stunning view of the mountains, the sunrise, and the private sauna on the balcony. (We charge 18 euros per use.)
