Peaceful Farm

We enjoyed our stay at this family friendly farm house. The house was very clean and well decorated. We enjoyed feeding the goats and taking in the beautiful sunset.

Super cozy and welcoming!

We absolutely adored the animal themed rooms and this was the perfect place for a weekend getaway! Plenty of yard for our two dogs to run around. Communication with the owners was very easy and welcoming! We would definitely stay there again!

Great stay!

Stayed in this home for a quick family trip with my son, husband, parents and pup. The house was clean and comfortable, we had a great time! The beds were way more comfortable than we expected! My son really loved meeting Dixie and Dolly (the goats) and being able to feed them. He’s already asking when we can go back!

Lovely property, very private. Great house to return to after long days at Hershey Park. Kids loved meeting and feeding the goats. House was very clean with plenty of room for our family of 4.

Great stay at this farm property!!

We enjoyed our stay at this large property. Our kids really enjoyed feeding the goats. House was clean and beds were comfortable. Roku TVs were great when it was time to unwind at the end of the night! Great location, close to all the local attractions!!

Gorgeous and peaceful getaway

We had an amazing time in a great location. We spent a week waking up to gorgeous sunrises, overlooking a neighboring farm with cows sheep and goats, and had the fortune to be in a farmhouse cottage with goats and chickens right on the property. The owners thought of everything- even left bags of food for the sweet goats!

Couldn’t have hoped for more 💖

My goal was to find a place close to Hershey to take my grand children for the day. What I found was so much more. The view from the property is beautiful abs the addition of the farm animals (goats & chickens) was such a treat. The house is 15 minutes from Hershey and the drive is so easy. We made great memories and hopefully can return one day. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Accomodating and peaceful

My family and I stayed at the Polka Dot Roost for two nights during a family trip to Hershey Park. We arrived to find a beautiful little farm in the PA countryside that had plenty of genuine antique charm but still had the modern amenities to keep the kids happy. Thankfully, the kids were excited to play one of the many board game options we found on the first night. The second day was my wife's favorite because she was able to spend some time with the goats as if it were our own petting zoo. We had a wonderful time and would absolutely rent from Patrick and Kristy again

Farmhouse @ Polka Dot Goat Farm

We really appreciated the special touches. On our arrival there was a lighted Christmas tree for us to place the gifts to each other that we had brought with us. It is very conveniently located to Hershey Park and its fun locations such as Chocolate World, the Chocolatier Restaurant & and Sweet Lights drive-thru holiday light show. We also traveled to Kozar's Xmas Village and that was quite an experience. We also enjoyed hanging out at the firepit outside and loved that our hosts had made it quite easy to light the fire & provided firewood & firestarters. It was fun to feed the 2 goats.

A Different Kind of Stay

What a wonderful experience!! We were celebrating my granddaughter's 7th birthday at Hershey Park and we wanted to stay somewhere close to the park. We're so glad we came across the Polka Dot Roost. Plenty of room for our family of 5 + 2 dogs. We're from the city so staying at an actual farm with goats, chickens and a corn field was an experience that we'll never forget. The bedrooms had different animal themes and the beds were comfortable. The house was clean, the grounds were well maintained and the proximity to the park and restaurants was very convenient. The kitchen had everything you needed to cook a meal but we opted to eat out at Funcks and Babe's Grillhouse which were both great. My grandchildren loved feeding the goats and watching the chickens. They're already asking if we can come back next year. Thank you for offering such a lovely property. We hope to visit again in the future.

Great stay!

What a great stay! We stayed 2 nights and wish we'd done 3. The house was clean and super cute, especially with the themed bedrooms. Beds were comfortable, kitchen had all the basics we needed, plus some baggies of feed for the goats. Everything worked great and there were plenty of towels and extra pillows and blankets if needed (also noticed a pack n play with sheets, though we didn't use it). There were also dog bowls and basics, as well as games for rainy days, which was a nice touch. The property was absolutely beautiful with great views. Our dog very much enjoyed running the fields and getting all the sniffs, and we saw deer running a few times too. Our son enjoyed feeding the goats, watching the chickens, and playing on the farm style playground. Food was easy with Troegs brewery nearby and the pizza place recommended by the owner delivered no problem (with good pizza!).Proximity to Hersheypark and the attractions there was also a big plus; close enough to leave the park for a break when you need to and return without issues, far enough away that you feel like you have some peace. We stayed over holiday break so the traffic was likely somewhat different than it would be in the summertime, but we got from the house to the park within about 15 minutes each time. Overall, we'd definitely recommend this property for a family or small group. If you're traveling with kids and/or like some peace and quiet, it's worth booking an extra day just to hang out at the house, may

An Amazing Stay

Wonderful time at PolkaDot Roost

While visiting the Hershey area attractions, we had a great time staying at the PolkaDot Roost. It was great to have such a peaceful retreat to return to at the end of each day, and we enjoyed the quiet mornings before we headed out as well. We had fun feeding the goats and enjoyed our stay on the farm. The property looks like it was recently completely renovated and had all the amenities and conveniences one could ask for.

Family time unplugged on the countryside

My girls where screens down,& feeding goats within 5 min of our arrival. They ran thru fields & climbed thru a tire obstacles course. We adventured to "Hershey", /"Indian Echo Caverns "/ & even zip lined thru "Refreshing Mountains". It was family time unplugged. Toasting marshmallows & climbing trees. Even staged our XMAS card
