"Small hotel ( essentially rooms above the bar and restaurant) in a pretty East Lothian village. Easy on-street parking, straightforward check-in , decent size room. Amenities are a little basic and I was frustrated that the shower in my room had very low water flow. Nice to have a cooked breakfast available every day. I didn't eat in the evening but the dinner menu looked tempting and good value."

Our room was comfortable although window wouldn’t stay open to let in fresh air as it was a warm day outside. Our even meal was delicious with a good choice of menu. Breakfast was also good and the service was swift. a great start to our day. All in all an enjoyable stay would revisit this hotel again in the future."
