"The staff on duty both days were wonderful. Very welcoming and helpful. The warm cookies at night and the real fireplace was a nice treat. There was a restaurant only about 2 minutes down and around the hotel. Delicious food. It had a great river view and when the doors were shut, no outside noise. Two things really disappointed me. The carpet was so gross. It did not appear to have been cleaned in quite sometime. It was also not stretched tight and had a ridge causing a trip hazard. The path to the restaurant had several out. Made us a bit nervous but it is a very short walk."

"Parking was easy, not covered but who cares? Owners helped me, very friendly and professional. Room was clean, had some old furniture that was a bit worn but amenities were solid. "

"Loved this place! From the views overlooking the beautiful river to the comfortable beds and helpful staff, my stay was wonderful. Clark and Lora Jean at the front desk were a delight, both professional and friendly. Made me feel seen and welcomed. Eileen in the breakfast room went above and beyond. I am definitely staying here next time. Everything was great!! Hot popcorn in the lobby every evening was a nice treat."

"I wanted to make sure that my two dogs were included in the reservation. I originally booked for two adults and two dogs. When I received an email confirmation it only showed two adults. It was difficult to find a number or email so I could make sure I had paid the appropriate fees for the pets. I finally found a phone number to call and spoke to someone with very broken English that was hard to understand but they did confirm that the pets were included in the reservation. There had been an email saying I could message the host But when I clicked on the link it only took me to a place that said there are no new messages but didn't have a way for me to leave a message. Our stay was excellent. Communication was not. Paper towels would be nice. "
