The perfect place for our needs accessing winter mountaineering locations. Close to Aviemore for shopping etc, Inverness also a short journey. Peaceful location.
Very spacious and well equipped house in a perfect location to explore the Cairngorms. Our host Charlie was attentive and checked in with us during our stay. Many thanks to him for offering a last- minute booking with 24 hours' notice. We very much enjoyed our stay.
Absolutely great - ideal for touring the beautiful countryside, seeing birds and relaxing on the patio at sundowner time!
We were so fortunate to have wall to wall sunshine throughout the week.
Immaculate house in a very peaceful road surrounded by fields . Well equipped and lovely and warm. Charlie was helpful and communicated promptly. Great location for everything in the Aviemore and Cairngorm area. Lovely walk in the woods behind the house to the river. We even had the thrill of seeing a golden eagle nearby. Our only issue was we didn’t find the beds comfortable unfortunately so didn’t sleep all that well.
Nice house in an ideal location to enjoy the local area. We stayed for a week and the location was great for a some exellent walking, cycling and relaxing. The house is well equipped, warm, comfortable and clean, it has the added bonuis of a lockable outhouse which was good for storing bikes.
Grantown is just along the road with a good range of shops, cafes and other facilities. Aviemore slighly further afield for a larger shops and amenties.
Overall a throughouly enjoyable stay and communication with Charlie was excellent.
A fantastic house located on a quiet road backed by woods, and close to some beautiful walking areas. Easy check-in process and helpful host with speedy responses. The house had lots of space, with everything we needed for our stay. The kitchen was well-equipped which was perfect for self catering. Would definitely stay again.
We had a super week staying in Woodside. Well equipped and very spacious. Nice and warm during our February stay. Very convenient location for access to surrounding towns and walks.
Lovely place. Clean, warm, everything we needed provided.Host was excellent, he was there to help and offer advice if needed.Location lovely with views of the woods and mountains
The house exceeded our expectations - it's well equipped, very comfortable and has great views. A great base for exploring the Cairngorms and some lovely short walks in the nearby woods and along the river.
Loved our stay. Beautiful, peaceful location with lovely views with some lovely walks right on the doorstep. Property was fantastic, spacious, clean and well equipped. Great communication from the owner who is lovely. We’ll definitely be back!
We had a great week, the house is well furnished and is in an ideal location for a Speyside holiday. More distilleries here than is possible to visit! Many nice local walks with our cocker spaniel along marked paths. It has also inspired us to buy a new sofa from Next!
It is a great location for our two collies with woodland and riverside walks from the door. The house was bigger than the photos show (there is also a third room upstairs with a desk in it). It was spotless, really well equipped and very comfortable. Skye of Curr is a great location to see the many sites in the area. We hope to visit again soon.
The house was super cool and clean!Location is perfect if you want to spend time at Cedar point. We had a great time. The owner is friendly and easy to work with.
We had a great stay and communication with the owner was very straightforward. House was perfect for us and very clean and nicely decorated. We would definitely come again
