Lovely Home Away From Home!

Very comfy with all the conveniences of home…plus a rec area with pool table!!! Beautiful scenery and location was great as it was within short distance from several other towns, restaurants & stores to explore. Home was one of the cleanest we’ve ever stayed in and the owner was a delight. Very friendly, helpful & really cared. Looking forward to coming back!

Beautiful property!

We highly recommend this property! It was perfect for our group with lots of open space and every amenity you could possibly need when traveling. Great place for family!

The most well-stocked home we've ever stayed in! Beautiful, comfortable, quiet location. Beds were so comfortable! Amenities fantastic! Great communication with the hosts. It rained most of the time we were there and it didnt matter! We had the BEST place to relax with our little family reunion. Absolutely wonderul home!

Beautiful Spacious Home

This home is perfect for a medium-sized family looking to spend quality time. The house is beautiful and has plenty of indoor activities if it rains on your trip—plenty of board games, a pool table, and a large table for eating as a family. The house also has rooms with full baths, making getting ready in the mornings very easy. The location is very convenient, with beautiful scenery within a short drive or walking distance. We would stay again!

Great vacation

Such a great family vacation! We all golf so it was great to have the beautiful Eastman links right there! The lake was beautiful and some of us did take a canoe out although it was windy that day but lots of laughs and fun. House is full of amenities and fun. We stayed 3 nights and no one was ready to leave. Next time we stay longer!

Perfect vacation

We spent six nights at this beautiful home. Our group ranged from 27yrs old to 89. This is house is stocked with everything you could possibly need. The house is spacious with plenty of space to spread out. We throughly enjoyed the hot tub and pool table. The owners reached out to us multiple times throughout the week whether it be to warn us of stormy weather or to suggest restaurants in the area. We loved this home and the Eastman Community. We did not want to leave.

We loved it!!

Spent a week here in late August with 6 adults and a toddler. Due to inclement weather, we spent a lot of time indoors. The gate on the main floor of the house was perfect as our toddler could safely run around without worry. The house had an AMAZING pantry with spices and essentials there so we didn’t have to buy or bring these things. TY!! We used the hot tub frequently which was lovely and finally had a fire on the last day when the rain completely stopped. Our hosts were attentive and answered any questions quickly. Would highly recommend this place!!

Nice place to stay!

This was a nice house to stay in. There were a few little imperfections but there were also some perks. They have a stocked pantry and plenty of dishes, glasses, mugs, baking dishes, mixing bowls etc. Decent pans but could use frying pans. You have use of lake and swimming pool and plenty of privacy. But if you are looking for restaurants, stores, mini golf, etc., you have at least 30 - 40 minute ride. Nice deck. Would recommend. 4 floors--beds on 1st and 3rd levels. Kitchen, DR, LR, doors to deck on 2nd level. Pool table in basement. Definitely need to be able to do stairs with no problem. Good communication. Thanks for your hospitality.

Absolutely wonderful!

Bill and Lydia have the most wonderful home. The house is beautifully stocked. From the community pantry, to a drawer filled with toddler sized plates/cups/utensils, to all of the kitchen gadgets one might need- the house was perfect!! We were 6 adults and 4 kids ranging from age from 6 to 6 months old. We took along our dog. The bedrooms have warm fluffy linens. The bathrooms are stocked w shampoos and soaps. The basement cabinets hold more puzzles, games, toys than you can actually play with. The hot tub and fireplace were a great end to days skiing/sledding. There are several places to sled in the area- one is across the street, the other within the community center. The pool is there too. The water could be warmer in the pool- but that’s obviously not under Bill and Lydia’s control! We looooved the house. It was beyond what we expected and we plan to return! Thank you!

Rained in at the Snowed Inn

This was a wonderful family weekend getaway. Unfortunately it rained all weekend so we didnt get to enjoy most of the backyard amenities (fire pit, the hammock, multiple decks fully equipped with nice furniture) or do any barbecuing. On Sunday morning the rain finally stopped and we were able to use the hot tub for a bit before checking out. The hot tub was beautiful and pristine and the perfect temp. The home looks just as nice if not better than the online pictures. The kitchen is well equipped and the very large pantry had lots of staples for your convenience. I love to cook and had all the tools i needed and then some. The fireplace was so cozy and the huge sectional was very comfy for watching movies. The hosts were nice enough to provide plenty of wood for the fireplace which was so nice to have on a rainy stay in kind of weekend. Bill and Lydia were also very responsive and helpful with any questions we had. They also provide a really comprehensive welcome packet with lots of helpful information and recommendations for restaurants, groceries, etc. In the house they leave helpful instructions on how to use the fireplace, hot tub, etc. Check in and checkout was easy. We had lunch at the Forbes Tavern which is within the Eastman Community overlooking the golf course and the food and service were great. We all enjoyed our weekend very much and would love to come back and stay longer next time and hopefully have better weather!

Very wholesome home

Hello all, We stayed in this beautiful the last 2 weeks of August and had a wonderful time. As. mentioned in other reviews, the house is indeed equipped with everything one might need in the kitchen, and has my dream pantry, which is stocked with all the basics, making it enticing to cook and bake. Very pleasant to not to have to buy floor and sugar and spice and the likes in a rental, and that's because the owners stay regularly in their own house, which, as some VRBO aficionados out there know, makes a house so much more comfy and homy. All beds were extremely comfortable, and all baths and kitchen are new. The house itself is built on half levels, which is a great use of the space and provides for amazing volumes. Plenty of space for everyone to have their space. We enjoyed soaking in the jacuzzi which was pristine, and melting marshmallows. A great vacation! Eastman Community itself is a gem. The golf is gorgeous and maintained in a state of the art shape. The lake, forests and surroundings are so restful and peaceful. Eastman aims to preserve the land and is not building left and right, keeping it very "nature" and wild. Went to one of the many beaches of the lake, how nice it is to look at a shore as opposed to mansions on a shore... The community also contains plenty of maintained hiking trails, as does the entire region really, no need to drive very far to reach a beautiful path leading to a lake, a stream or a waterfall. If you are outdoorsy, this spot is for you

Very nice house, only draw backs, cameras everywhere outside and not bc of them, but NH won't allow us to make a firepit fire outside without burn permit, they weren't issuing any permits.

Beautiful home, quiet location but still felt like a neighborhood. PERFECT place for a large group like ours (8 adults) where every couple has their own bed and bathroom. Enjoyed having multiple spaces to gather (or escape the crowd), pet friendly so the entire family was together. Hot tub was perfect (clean, temp and easy in/out) on a great deck. Everyone was in awe of the pantry which also provided a location for your groceries to be put away. The island made a great serving area and had enough chairs around the table for everyone to eat together. The split heating/AC also meant the bedrooms could be set to different temps so nobody complained about being hot or cold.

Dream vacation in the mountains.

I can’t thank the owners of this beautiful home enough. They were very helpful letting us know about everything in their home and how to use the amenities. The house itself was very clean and well stocked to cook all your meals from home. The hot tub was easily accessible and the bark yard was a wonderful spot for R&r. The community itself was also filled with wonderful welcoming people. We enjoyed our time in the beautiful lake surrounded by the mountains and watched our kids jump off the floating docks and have a blast. 10/10 highly recommend.

Amazing stay!

The listing is even better than described! The host, Lydia and Bill, are very responsive and super helpful for recommendations or any general questions. The home layout and amenities are so great for hanging out with friends and family. We stayed with a group of friends and are already planning our next trip! Can't forget about the amazing hot tub!

Dream getaway with all the comforts of home, and more!

Snowed Inn was the perfect location for our adult family getaway. With ample bedrooms and bathrooms, our family was extremely comfortable. The house was equipped with everything needed and more, including detailed notes around everything important. The house itself is stunning, spacious and very clean/organized. Perfect getaway

We had an amazing weekend at the Snowed Inn! Bill and Lydia were so helpful and check in was very easy. The house has a great layout, enough room for everyone to gather together, but also to have some privacy if needed. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you could need for cooking meals, and the hot tub was amazing. We will definitely be coming back!

Fun ski trip house

We had a group stay for a weekend of skiing and had an awesome time. The house is amazing—spacious, clean, a really well-equipped kitchen, and plenty of activities. Mount Sunnapee is a quick 20 minutes away, and Lydia was very responsive with all questions. We hope to return for another winter weekend next year.

resting up from the holidays

We're snow mobilers waiting for snow so just wanted to get away and recoop from the holiday craziness. This is the perfect place to sit by the fire, play a game of pool, relax in the hot tub and enjoy good friends. We all love to cook and the kitchen makes it easy! I really couldn't say enough good about this property.
