"It is not fancy and the television wasn't working the first night, the restaurant wasn't open for dinner but the views were stunning. We had a really yummy traditional breakfast for only $10 a plate which was our cheapest meal of the trip. We aren't picky We were just happy to be in Alaska "

"Good communication with host. Updated property with great location on the river. Good area and space inside and out. The whole town lost power the first night and the host was able to be super helpful and even moved us to a different cabin that had a generator. Would highly recommend to family and friends. "

Anyone looking to head off into the last great frontier should have a stay at the Summit Lake Lodge for a night or two. Recommend renting the lakefront cabins, as waking up to a cup of coffee in bed with incredible views helps start any day with a smile.
