"If you're looking for a very clean, spacious house with all the amenities, this is where you want to stay. There is plenty of room for 10 or more people to sleep comfortably. Bring your boat and use the dock in the backyard. The host is easy to contact if you need anything. Location is convenient to Buckroe Beach Park, restaurants and grocery stores. We thoroughly enjoyed our time together there with our family."

"The house is adorable and well equipped for our weekend stay. It was in perfect proximity to Buckroe Beach and the neighborhood was very quiet. The only criticism I have is the grass was a bit long and it would have been nice if there was a clear walkway to the side door and back of the house to use the outdoor shower. Otherwise, it was exactly as described and very tidy."

"We rented here as a mini vacation when we moved our son from basic training in SC to Ft. Eustis, about 30 minutes away from the house. It was perfect for the 5 of us and had everything we needed. The host went above and beyond when she had a small grill delivered because the one at the house was not usable. She replied almost immediately to the couple other questions we had. Our plans changed, and we didn't have time to walk to the beach, but the proximity was part of the reason we booked here. We did visit the beach after we checked out of the house, and it was clean and beautiful and less crowded and touristy than most beaches you'd visit. We would definitely stay here again!"

"The house is very spacious in a quiet neighborhood and yet still convenient to get groceries/dine out. We enjoyed seeing the area's wildlife and spending time at the beach. The pool and hot tub were perfect for the days we wanted to stay in and relax, and my family greatly enjoyed putting together some of the puzzles in the home in between activities. Owners' communication is prompt and kind and we had a very nice stay."

I typically lower my expectations when arriving at a new place and really concentrate on the positives as opposed to dwelling on the negatives. No need to lower expectations for this beautiful place. It was so clean and updated with wonderful amenities around the house. I almost walked into multiple windows because they were so clean. Felt like we were staying at a close friend’s house and not a rental. So homey and comfortable. Amazing wildlife all around in the peaceful mornings and awesome sunsets. Wonderful memories for our family."
