Hotel is in the old side and cigarette smell all over the building, room-bedding was really clean which was relieving after walking through the smelly hallways. Bathroom was sketchy.

The lobby and hallways carpets was very dirty. The room was actually clean which was surprising compared to the lobby and hallways. The bathtub had been painted to cover the stains but the paint was peeling off.

I will say check-in was easy and the deposit was placed on my card. Once I went to the room I decided that I could not stay due to medical concerns.. I have asthma and the conditions of the carpet would not be best the rest of my overall health. I decided to check out the same day within an hour of check-in.. I will say this is your only option and affordability go ahead and stay but for me I had to think about my health.

The bathroom needs a serious remodel job. The place is pretty run down. Eggs and sausage would have been nice to have for breakfast instead of stale bagels. The orange juice was good though.

Barking Dogs, Low income visitors

The Hotel has low income visitors in the parking lot and hotel. The staff allows attack dogs barking all the time at guests to stay. Pool was very good. Gym small, breakfast was limited to bread. 10 minutes drive from Downtown. Low income part of Grand Rapids.

Location was nice. Pool was murky and dirty, hallways smelled of cigarettes and pot. Bathroom in our room needed some serious updating. Overall the lobby was tidy and the staff was very nice. But the room just had a vibe of not very clean.

Staff were nice and efficient. The room was clean, although musty smelling. I rented a balcony room which was on the 1st floor and the walk out was surrounded by a fence, there were a lot of cigarette butts, broken pipes out the sliding door. I did report to staff. I think they need to clean up the outside area more, otherwise it was a decent stay.

Whole floor smelled like marijuana. Shower was visibly moldy and tub had stains, would not step in there. Sink and toilet was clean and bed was confortable. Room had a smell of smoke. Doorwall was loose.around frame.
