Girls trip away

Booking and check in were easy. The house was the perfect size for our group of 5. The house was clean, water was hot and it was a great location. Walking distance to the beach and to town. I would stay here again.

Great location

Grand Marais is a great location for access to Painted Rocks and rock hunting. Northern Lights over Lake Superior were a bonus!

Beautiful getaway!

We were first time Vrbo users so we weren’t sure what to expect but this location and house was terrific. The house was in a great location and more than enough space for our family. We would definitely recommend and stay again. We have been coming to grand Marais for years and this will be our spot from now on!

Excellent Stay

We stayed at this property for three days and two nights, and it was an excellent experience. The property was very neat and clean, and the check-in process was incredibly simple. The owner provided the access code two days before our stay, making everything smooth and hassle-free. Overall, it was an outstanding experience.

Family vacation

Great location. Place was clean and gave us plenty of room. Well supplied for the six of us. Town is small but cute, walking distance. Close to waterfalls. Driving distance to picture rocks about an hour but well worth the drive. Would definitely stay here again!

Northern Vacation

Nice house with 4 bedrooms and 2 full baths. Great location for picture rocks hiking and site-seeing. Only minor issue was no dishwasher.

Amazing!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the very spacious Harbor House! Plenty of room & all the amenities our family of 6 needed. Just a couple blocks from town and beaches. Communication with Maddy is timely & helpful. We vacation in Grand Marais often and would love to rent Harbor House again!

A week in the Yoop

Great place to relax and is centrally located to explore Pictured Rocks, Newberry and Tahquamenon Falls. For someone who has had extensive lumbar surgery, the king size bed is very comfortable. Maddy is great to work.

Fantastic, Beautiful UP

We had an awesome stay at this super cool house in Grand Marais. The owner was very kind and accommodating. The house is clean and large. It contained all the things we needed. It is a few minutes walk to Lake Superior and the super cute Village of Grand Marais. Can’t recommend this spot enough! Hope to return in the fall.

Great location

Everything was great from check-in to check out including communication during the stay. The king bed is extremely comfortable. I don't know about the others but I was happy. The little town is super friendly and you have plenty of great restaurants and places for groceries. I was afraid I wouldn't have everything I needed but that wasn't the case. I'd definitely go back to this place.

Great space great location

Location was perfect and house was exactly what we were expecting. It was very clean and everytime I though "oh man I wish i remember this..." it was there anyways! Trash bags, laundry soap, dish soap ect. It was super nice. Thank you!

Enjoyable Stay

We had a set of 4 friends and went sxs riding. This location was great, plenty of room for everyone, 2 bathrooms were a plus, big kitchen with plenty of seating. Plenty of parking for all vehicles/trailers. We were gone from 9am to almost 8pm daily. we didn’t have time to enjoy the outdoor fire pit or other amenities on property. We hope to return for another visot in the near future. This was a typical UP north VRBO with old home charm for GREAT old town. Host was excellent.

Beautiful weekend in Grand Marais

We enjoyed the house very much. Nice and spacious for 2 families to spread out. Good WiFi. Kitchen had everything we needed. We enjoyed grilling outside and the kids enjoyed the yard and woods behind the house. Beds were very comfortable. The house is older so it does feel a bit damp and has an “older house” smell, which didn’t bother us at all. Only noting it because it may bother someone with allergies or asthma.

Lovely stay in cute lakeside town

We were so pleased with our time in Grand Marais! It is an adorable little town full of friendly folks, and yummy eateries. The house is just a 10 minute walk from town, and the bayside beach. We appreciated all the attention to detail at the house! Everything we could of needed was provided. We loved all the updates too. It was also a nice location for us, because it's centralized to many activities in the area that we decided to venture out to. Many fun places to go and things to do, including Pictured Rocks Riptide Ride, Taquamenon Falls, Whitefish Point, and even Sault Ste. Marie are all just a short drive away.

Pictured Rocks Vacation

This house was lovely. Maddie was very responsive to our texts and emails. The property is accurately described and had everything we needed. Very quiet neighborhood and an easy walk to the heart of Grand Marais. Everything was very clean and the kitchen and bathrooms were well stocked. We loved the outside campfire ring and it was nice to have firewood provided. Also loved the laundry room entryway and having a big table there to put our stuff on and not drag it into the kitchen. Refrigerator was very clean and a nice size. We appreciated the night lights for bathrooms and bedrooms. Beds were comfortable. All in all, it was a great place to stay. Grand Marais was fun and everyone was so friendly.
