Turn down cabin thermostat to 62; it is just inside the 2nd bedroom. There are 5 heat dials in the cabin, controlling the electric registers near the ceiling, please turn all down to “low”.

We stayed here for 4 nights and we were very happy with the place. This is located in the center of everything in Grand Lake. The accommodations were perfect for us and we hope to stay here again in the future. Super clean, accessories were available, basic cable, beautiful home.

Loved it!

The cabin was great, very nicely furnished and a lot of extra touches from the hosts. We had one little glitch with the internet but the host was very helpful in an attempt to fix the issue but seriously who needs the internet when the area is so beautiful and the mountains are calling!

Cozy Cabin

We loved this cabin. The cabin was spotless. The bed was cozy with flannel sheets and flannel duvet cover. The kitchen was well stocked and had everything we needed. The host supplied shampoo, conditioner, and body wash which was a nice touch. The bathroom towels were fluffy and newer and there were even extras. The cabin was close to everything; the market, restaurants and hiking. Ample parking too. We highly recommend this cabin.

Like Living at Home

This beautiful cabin in one minute’s drive from Grand Avenue(Main Street) and five minutes away from Rocky Mnt National Park. It has everything you need for a perfect stay. The kitchen is fully supplied. It was quiet and worth the price. The bedrooms were nice and after a day of touring., we watched Sunday Night Football on satellite tv. We loved it.

Grand Lake cabin with everything

Our experience at Grand Lake was exceptional. The cabin met all our expectations, with no detail overlooked. It was equipped with dog supplies that we might have required. The host was highly attentive to our inquiries throughout our stay. Although we initially desired a location directly on the lake, the walk to the water through downtown Grand Lake was quite convenient. We brought our chocolate lab, who enjoys swimming and jumping off docks. The dock at the beach was perfect for enjoying morning coffee and accommodating Truckee's swimming activities. We will certainly consider this cabin for future visits.

Very Comfortable Cabin in a Beautiful Location with Everything Needed

This cabin was probably the most well-stocked cabin of anywhere I have ever stayed, including plenty of blankets, towels, necessities for the dogs, and modern amenities with everything needed for the kitchen. There was a good selection of books and games, which I always enjoy. The cabin was clean and the furniture and beds were very comfortable and I slept well. It was a short walk to town and the lake and there was a park to walk the dogs just across the street. The location is beautiful and it's very close to RMNP. I would definitely stay here again when in Grand Lake. The only thing I would suggest if you are bringing dogs is to check out what events are going on in town during your visit. Fireworks are very loud in a town surrounded by mountains.

Good location (short walk to shops and restaurants; access to great hiking, including trails you can take your dog on); nice size cabin with everything you need for your stay. The kitchen is well-equipped -- even have food and water dishes for your dog -- and the full-size washer and dryer are great to have.
