This spacious log cabin offers panoramic views, abundant wildlife, and the perfect mix of comfort and adventure for families, couples, and groups.
Cabin Highlights

• Family-friendly extras: playground, bunk room, and “harry potter” cubby with toys, pillows and kid size tents
• Three bedrooms 2 with King beds & the 3rd is a King and Queen bed plus additional area with twin/twin bunk beds (sleeps 8 total). All linens/sheets/towels provided. We also have 2 full bathrooms.
Outdoor Adventure
Step outside to enjoy 7 acres of privacy with direct views of Shadow Mountain Lake and the Rocky Mountains. Watch moose, elk, fox and deer wander by, sip coffee on the deck at sunrise, or gather around the outdoor gas fire pit table under the gazebo (for use spring/summer/fall only) and enjoy the millions of stars and the Milky Way.
• Grand Lake Village: 5 minutes away for shops, dining, and boat rentals
• Rocky Mountain National Park: 7 minutes to the west entrance for hiking, wildlife, and scenic drives
• Grand Lake, Lake Granby & Shadow Mountain Lake: boating, fishing, kayaking, and paddle boarding just minutes from the cabin. We have snowshoes and ice skates for your enjoyment.
Comfort & Entertainment
Inside, the cabin blends rustic charm with modern amenities:
• Two Spacious Family rooms with smart TV’s with streaming. Lower level family room also has Xbox and games.
• Fully equipped kitchen and dining area for family meals. Keurig and regular coffee maker, coffee grinder, French press, Kitchen Aide mixer, waffle maker and all pots/pans, dishes, glasses, instapot, crockpot.
• Game room with ping pong, shuffleboard, corn hole, puzzles and board games. We also have a full size washer and dryer in the lower level.
• Bedrooms designed for relaxation after adventure-filled days. All 3 bedrooms have smart TV’s with streaming.
Seasonal Notes
• Winter: Although the driveway is regularly plowed, AWD or 4WD (and good tires) is required for snowy conditions; nearby skiing, snowmobiling and sleigh rides make this a perfect winter base. You can also sled right down our driveway – sleds provided.
• Summer: Easy access to lakes for boating, fishing, swimming. Thousands of miles for hiking.
• Fall: Stunning foliage and crisp mountain air with boating, fishing and hiking galore

This cabin is in Grand Lake, Colorado. Vrbo/HomeAway recently lumped Grand Lake with Estes Park (2-4+hours drive summer/winter), Winter Park, Fraser, Tabernash & the Town of Granby (20-50 min drive). ZOOM IN ON MAP TO GET JUST GRAND LAKE. We are NOT in Estes Park.
NO Smoking, NO Pets, NO camping, NO campers & NO WEDDINGS. No snowmobiling on the property or driveway. Outdoor woodburning fires are NOT allowed anywhere on the property.
