About this property
Renovated 1940's Cabin Located in a Peaceful Grand Lake Village Location
Must see! This adorable, knotty pine one-bedroom cabin is located within walking distance of downtown, Grand Lake, and RMNP. This 1940's cabin is loaded with historic character and located on a peaceful, aspen-filled lot within Grand Lake village. This quaint cabin has been renovated with fresh pine, but it's historic integrity has been maintained. (Please note that, because the integrity has been maintained, the doorways and beams are low for people approximately 6 feet tall and taller.) This charming cabin has a queen-size bed, separate living and kitchen areas, bath, cozy gas fireplace, and cable television. Gas stove and microwave available. Charcoal grill, fire pit, and sitting area located outside. Use the coffee-maker in the morning, or wander downtown to one of the local lake-side coffee shops. Perhaps just lounge in the outside seating area and watch for wildlife to wander through the area. **(Please note that the mountains are a host to MANY types of wildlife. Sometimes, despite our best efforts, unwanted wildlife such as chipmunks or mice can sometimes find their way into mountain cabins. If you are uncomfortable with this possibility, this vacation choice may not be the best for you.) This cabin's charm, quiet environment, and walking-distance proximity to town, the lake, and the Rocky Mountain National Park trailheads make it an easy choice for a vacation stay.
This cabin is held to a higher safety standard than cabins located outside of the village. It is inspected annually by the Grand Lake fire department.
Do you have family/friends who are also planning to vacation? We have two nearby charming cabins. (listing numbers 611187 and 899178).

Very clean and comfortable little home away from home. Ina great location, walking distance to shops and restaurants. Also, very dog friendly!
Great cozy little cabin in Grand Lake. Close access to lots of hiking and downtown. The fireplace was a perfect spot to warm up with some board games after cold snowy mornings of hiking.
Walking distance to Grand Lake and so close to Rocky Mountain National Park, our stay in this darling cabin was a great getaway. Well appointed and comfortable bed made for a relaxing time. Great communication with owner and easy check-in.
This is a very cozy and well maintained cabin. It had all the essentials one would need for a short stay. The area and surrounding homes were very quiet. So much peace. Great communication with host as well. Would definitely go back.
We had a very nice stay! We were near so much to enjoy each day. Hiking in the Rocky Mountain National Park, fishing, and the shops in the cute little town of Grand Lake. The cottage was clean and charming and perfect for the two of us!! We even had the company of three mule deer in the front yard. Amazing scenery as well!!
This cabin is a gem. The location is wonderful, close to RMNP. The little cabin is so comfortable we felt like we were home. The kitchen was well stocked, there was Satellite TV, games to play, a booklet with trails and distance, comfortable bed and bedroom. We fully intend to return.
Return visit to this charming little cabin that we visited 5yrs ago and everything is exactly as we remember. Very cozy, quaint and comfortable and ohhh so quiet. Cooking our meals in were very practical with all the amenities. Rebekah checked in with us a few times even though she was traveling herself. Love this place and will definitely book again. Will try out a spring or summer visit.
Cabin was in the perfect location for access to the west side of RMNP. Fun town that was an easy walk. We enjoyed kayaking on Grand Lake, as well as daily hiking in RMNP.
Cabin is true to it's description...small, but it was comfortable and clean.
Only suggestion would be to update dishes, pots/pans. Many have seen better days. There was only 1 butter knife available.
Check in was a breeze, Rebekah provided detailed directions and Instructions. The cabin was cute and rustic with all the modern conveniences needed. Loved the hot water pressure, even though the shower is quite small. The bed was so comfortable and sleeping with the windows open was great. Walking distance to the lake and Grand Avenue. Great hiking close by but with a dog you can't go into RMNP but many other dog friendly hikes. Everyone in town was so friendly and The Hub opens early for coffee and breakfast so that was a great ritual and then a walk to the beach. Highly recommend.
Absolutely loved this quaint little cabin in Grand Lake, CO. Locating and accessing the cabin was an easy process thanks to Rebekah's helpful instructions. The cabin itself was clean and tidy, with a perfect mixture of rustic and modern for daily comforts like cooking and showering. I wish we could have stayed longer than our 2 nights there! Rebekah is also very accommodating for pet owners, for which we are appreciative of. The location is about a 10 minute walk from downtown Grand Lake and a 5 minute drive from the south entrance to RMNP. At night we had a clear view of the night sky while sitting near the campfire. This time of year not many restaurants are open in Grand Lake proper, but there are a couple of grocery stores and plenty of restaurants to choose from in Granby, which is about 20 minutes south of Grand Lake. Overall a wonderful stay, my husband and I look forward to coming here again.
This is a cute little cabin, perfect for a visit to Grand Lake. We'd describe it as very cozy (not for the very tall!). The kitchen had what we needed, the queen bed was very comfortable, and the shower was nice and hot. The only issue we had was the size of the shower; it was very small, which worked for us, but probably wouldn't work as well for the very tall or larger folks. My husband is 5'10", 165 pounds, and felt like the shower floor had a little movement underfoot. The corrugated metal enclosure could have used a little finishing on the edges, some of which were a little sharp. Nice gas fireplace stove in the living room. We had an issue checking in, as the door code didn't work, but the host solved the problem pretty quickly. It is a little north and west of the main downtown and lake, but not a bad walk. We actually liked being a little away from the Main Street, as it was a little quieter in the early evening.
The cabin was cozy and delightfully, creatively decorated. The ability to walk to Grand Lake and the close proximity to the Rocky Mountain National Park for hiking, sightseeing and elk watching made it an ideal location for us.
It was a beautiful setting for our Christmas this year . This was a dream for my wife to have a quiet setting to enjoy Christmas in a small mountain cabin. We attended a candle light service at a local church and thoroughly enjoyed the service and the folks we met. For me, the cabin more than I expected and very comfortable.
Beautiful and cosy cabin, very clean and well equipped. Grand lake is a stunning area to visit, much quieter than the other side of Rocky Mountain National Park but still lots of trails to do and things to enjoy
We had an amazing stay at this cabin! It’s was cozy and just right for us. The host was extremely helpful and friendly. We will book with this host again!
Perfect cabin for me and my dog! We had a wonderful visit. Love the fireplace. Rebekah was a wonderful host and very prompt in replying to my questions. Also, enjoyed the thorough cabin handbook with lots of ideas from food, hikes, recreation, and a lot more.
Cute, cozy cabin!! Rebekah was very gracious and we ran into a little snafu and she went above and beyond to try and help us. Would definitely stay there again.
