About this property
Cozy Grand Lake Cabin
Small family getaway with a great fire pit and outdoor space for kids. Quiet stream runs behind cabin with shade from large aspen grove. This cabin is decorated with love and detail and is very cozy and comfortable. It is completely stocked with supplies for cooking indoors or grilling outside. There is a deck with table and chairs and a picnic table near the fire pit for kids to eat. We have spent the last 17 years perfecting this as our little family cabin. The cabin is easy to access and there is plenty of parking for a trailer and cars. There is no dishwasher or clothes washer or dryer but it is a nice small place to get away and enjoy the area from.

The cabin was clean and had all the amenities we needed. We enjoyed sitting on the front porch and at the fire pit. The location is close to the town of Grand Lake and Rocky Mountain National Park. We really enjoyed our stay!!
Super cute cabin. Beds are very comfortable, and the water pressure in the shower was great. We weren't there very long so we didn't get a chance to try the firepit but it looked nice too!
Great accomodation close to lots of fun activities. Cabin was well stalked and well decorated. So cozy! Did I mention a heated bathroom floor? We really enjoyed ourselves. Thank you!
We rented the cabin for a Benefit Concert I played with my non-profit band in the area. Nice getaway, and a great place for it. We would go back. We have a lot of history in the area! Thankyou! Brian and Sue

Adorable little cabin
The cabin was cozy and well appointed and decorated in an old American style…so cute! The host was very responsive and helpful. Lots of games to choose from and internet worked good. We had a very nice visit and the nearby neighbors are very friendly. Loved that we could have our pup therewith us.
A few things we wished were for…1) would have loved to have been able to go out for a long walk directly from the cabin…it’s in a side road away from the main highway and we’d have to walk along the highway to get to a nice spot to walk, 2) though the kitchen was well stocked, several of the items we used were dirty and had to be washed before using them…looks like the cleaning crew isn’t checking the items when they go in to clean the place. As a side note, the strainer in the kitchen needs to be replaced, 3) the rooms are much smaller than we expected and both have the beds pushed up against the wall. This was a bit challenging for us. I thought one was like that from the pics but it didn’t appear that way in the 2nd one. 4) would have loved to have access to one of the bedroom closets to store or hang things up. Since the place is smaller, it would be nice to be able to store away some of those items/suitcases.
Overall, we were happy with the place and had a nice visit. Thanks for sharing your place with us!
Cozy, dog friendly and updated cabin with all the needed amenities centrally located near Shadow Mountain Lake. Perfect for our long weekend getaway. Got in some great hikes and paddle boarding, and photos that I’m sure made family and friends from the Midwest envious. My son even snapped off photos of deer and moose on his morning runs. It allowed us to escape the hustle and bustle of every day life, and bond as a family. Hoping your stay here will be just as special as ours was.
Kitchen was impressive with everything you would need , ample towels and bedding, the house met all of our needs and was homey and comfortable. Outside grill was a wonderful plus.
Everything was very clean and very comfortable.
Even our pup was provided all the confirms he could want .
The only thing I could complain about were the mattresses .
Other than that we would love to stay again
Just returned from our stay and the house was great! Had everything we needed for the 3 nights and super close to RMNP. Saw an elk buck, white tail deer and moose poo (95%sure it was moose and not bear) right next to the property. My kids loved the loft area and the beds were comfy. As we drove away the kids asked when we can return, will for sure be back!
