This cabin was a great location. It's right outside of Grand Lake, which is a cute town with lots of shops, food, and a market for groceries. Definitely get your gas in Granby instead of Grand Lake though! The house is cute and cozy. The host had towels/dishes/bedding, etc. at the cabin. There are neighbors but it still felt remote. There's a yard that was good for my dog to frolic in and a fireplace to keep us warm. Absolutely would stay again! Thank you!
Quiet neighborhood with 2 small lakes which means lots of wildlife viewing. The house was cozy and clean and deer and moose walked through the property while we were there.
You cannot beat this location! Super cool little cabin in the woods with a private lake. Host was wonderful and very relaxed. The check out list was very short and doable. Highly recommend!
We had an amazing stay at this VRBO in Grand Lake!
We were in town for a wedding at the Grand Lake Lodge, and the location was ideal for us.
The house was spotless and very comfortable. It had everything we needed for a great weekend.
The location was super convenient. It was just a short drive to the wedding venue and also close to downtown Grand Lake, where we went out to eat a couple of times.
Ben, the host, was incredibly accommodating and let us check-in early, which was a huge help and allowed us to settle in before the wedding festivities began.
Overall, we had a wonderful experience at this VRBO. This place is a fantastic choice. We would definitely stay here again!
The property was beautiful and amazing , The scenery absolutely gorgeous . We truly appreciate our stay ! Definitely would recommend any family to reserve this property! During our stay we drove nearby and saw a moose and her calf in pond . That was one of our many highlights.
Rustic, well-loved property, great base camp for RMNP adventures
Cozy with enough room for our family of 8. Tight squeeze to get luggage up the spiral staircase but definitely workable. Would definitely stay here again
Nice cabin. Not too far from different sites. Stairs a little rough on older knees but would definitely stay again. Thank you!!!

The property has a lot of privacy due to cabins being spread out. The staircase inside the cabin is quite narrow and steep which was challenging with baggage.
Lovely cabin with some nice updated amenities. Comfy and inviting. Kitchen was well appointed. Easy access to Grand Lake and RMNP. Loved the deck and all the birds. A few things to note - Fireplace has been converted to gas, a house has been built close by giving it a more "intimate" feel, and one of the nights neighbors were racing dirt bikes up and down the road for several hours (not something the owners could have done anything about but it took away from the experience of "being in nature").
The cabin was definitely smaller than the listing seemed them to be- the spiral staircase was difficult to manage, especially carrying anything. Check in and check out were easy to follow. The cabin had about everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The views were great, we loved sitting outside on the porch or around the fire and we saw multiple moose.

Disliked: Cleanliness, listing accuracy
affordable, great neighborhood
This cabin was fine for the money. It has some deferred maintenance, could use a through cleaning, and there is a queen bed instead of the twin bunk beds as listed. Teens not happy to sleep in the same bed.
Cozy cabin in the woods - perfect for a weekend getaway
A cozy cabin in the woods - perfect for a weekend getaway. The cabin has a nice updated kitchen and living area. All you need for a weekend getaway. Close to Rocky Mountain National Park. The stairs to upstairs may be difficult for some to navigate - but otherwise a perfect retreat. Deer, moose, and birds can be seen on the property. Very nice. Good for couples or a small family. Good neighborhood to walk around. Scenic lake.
