20 out of 10.The host is so generous and classy. We could feel it ( premium products quality , deviresity of supplies...etc)Nothing missed, he covered everything possible. Thanks alot , we have enjoyed our stay with kids.
This was a great house for a family vacation. Close to RMNP entrance and close to downtown Grand Lake. House was well stocked with kitchen items. Grand daughter loved coloring out on the deck. We had mule deer show up one evening while I the kitchen. Easy check in with keyless entry.
We had a great time at this property! Lots to do with the older kiddo during the toddlers nap time. The location is amazing if you want to be away from downtown/lake and want a good chance of seeing wildlife, but still close enough you can drive to downtown/lake within minutes. It was perfect for us! Communication from the owner and property owner were unmatched!
Excellent property, the whole family enjoyed our stay, plenty of space & well stocked. We saw a moose run through the side yard. Great location, near RMNP & all the trails we wanted to do.
I wish I could have stayed in this lovely cabin for a month! The neighborhood was so gorgeous - private and quiet, and seeing the lake in the neighborhood was so nice every day. We enjoyed sitting on the deck and watching the birds and chipmunks, and we used the grill and fire table which were both great. The bathroom on the main floor was nice and large for everyone to use (in addition to the small bathroom upstairs for the 2 of us sleeping up there). We would definitely stay here again!
Thoroughly loved our visit. The hosts were very gracious, supplying many of the little extras that make a stay more comfortable. I would highly recommend their property to anyone interested in visiting Grand Lake or Rocky Mountain National Park.
We had a great weekend away with family at this cozy home! The owners were very responsive with any questions and very helpful with suggestions of activities in the area. House was immaculately clean and loved all the fun mountain/outdoor decorations. The game room was a huge hit with both the kids and adults. Definitely recommend!
We had a wonderful stay here! The cabin was very clean, well kept, comfortable, and full of nice mountain touches/decor. It was very well stocked from the kitchen to bandaids to toiletries and towels. The game room was a hit with the kids! The neighborhood is absolutely beautiful and we saw a fox, moose, and deer during our stay. Very convenient access to the village and to the national park.
The house has a great location, beautiful deck and lots of charm. The outdoor fire pit and game room were a big hit with the kids. The kitchen is well equipped and was very clean. The only thing I would say is that this is really more of 3 bedroom home. The back entry leads to the 4th “bedroom” with a less than comfortable or clean fold out couch.
Owner communication was above and beyond!
There were a few changes from the listing online, but owner communicated those changes prior to check in. The changes would not have affected us booking the cabin.
Master suite is in the loft area, probably would not recommend this cabin for an older couple or someone with handicap as you have to climb stairs to each level.
GPS said we arrived at our location a couple houses prior to the actual cabin, but the pictures online of the exterior helped us ensure we were at the right location.
Cabin had everything we needed for prepping meals, kitchen had all the necessary equipment and utensils to prepare any meal we wanted.
LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION: Property is less that five minute drive to the entrance of the Rocky Mountain National Park.
Would stay here again!
Everything went pretty well. Love the cabin feel of the home and was a good time. Was large enough to accommodate us well.
The issues we had were....
1. The beautiful deck was covered in snow and ice. I know its winter, but having the walk way and decks maintained would of been nice.
2. We went to bbq and shortly after putting 120 bucks worth of steak on the grill the whole thing lit on fire. I mean 3 foot high flames (we took pics). It was filthy and hadn't been cleaned in who knows how long. We 3nded up soendingnover a hour the next day completely cleaning it. And our steaks were burnt and raw. Lol.
3. The game room. This game room was a big selling point on the house. Pool table is so unlevel all the balls roll to one side. The ping pong boards are unlevel, chess set is missing peices. This was all a little disappointing.
I'd definitely stay in the area again. But probably a diffrent rental.
We enjoyed an excellent stay at this beautiful home. The location is great, near the entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park and the town of Grand Lake. We found the kitchen well-appointed, with everything we needed for meal preparation. Note to travelers: although the Troublesome fire burned nearby, there is no visible evidence of the fire from this property.

Cabin Retreat
Our stay at this Grand Lake home was enjoyable for my husband, me, and our son and his family. It was very close to town and we enjoyed exploring RMNP and nearby lakes. Lots of water activities and the scenery at RMNP was magnificent. The most fun at the cabin was seeing moose almost every day, coming right into the side yard. The first day we were there we saw a huge male moose meandering on the road. Rest of days we say female moose and her calf. There were also many games, ping-pong, etc. to keep our 9 year old grandson content while in the cabin. The kitchen was well stocked and appliances were up to date.
It was a great place to stay in with friends. All was as described, and the comfort was amazing. The house is equipped with everything you can think of for cooking, playing, cleaning, etc. I am glad to having staying in here.
To reflect upon> Entry room and bedroom downstairs are very cold so that a heater was needed all night.
We had the most relaxing weekend at this property. The house was clean, well stocked, beautiful views. The wood burning stove offered cozy evenings. This will be our go to property every year.

Everything was wonderful! The property is beautiful and well kept! Easy to find and fully stocked with items that you may need and didn’t bring. Amazing views and easy to locate.. the pics don’t do this place justice!
Spectacular stay @ this very well equipped home that's in a quiet neighborhood and only a short 5min drive to town. The owners shared helpful information before and during our stay. My favorite part of the stay was laying in bed and listening to Elk bugle in the distance. Windows open in 24 degree temperature was extremely comfortable at night. Surprising especially since I'm a warm weather Texan. Wonderful Dark Sky environment for stargazing.
The house was beautiful, clean, and well appointed. Plenty of options to keep you entertained while at the house. The kitchen was perfect. Everything we needed was provided. Updated appliances. It snowed everyday, which we liked. We saw one moose the first day and three the next. Very close to the entrance to Rocky Mountains National Park. Grand Lake is very nice town. We are very sad about the fire last year and hope that the forest replenishes itself very soon. We highly recommend this house.
We stayed in this home for a long weekend to attend our niece’s wedding! Worked out well for the 5 of us staying there! Had thought our other son, his wife and 1 yr old would join us but they couldn’t. Which actually worked out because it would have been a bit tight with 8 of us! Otherwise, a very nice house and neighborhood!
