A Presidential Palace is a prominent property located near the middle of the island. This beachfront home includes the upper level main house and downstairs apartment. This home is very spacious with a huge open living and kitchen area (upper level) and can accommodate large groups of people. There is plenty of parking and beach access.

MAIN HOUSE (Upper level)
Under renovations: Will have 4 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms

DOWNSTAIRS APARTMENT (Ground level)
1 bedroom/1 bathroom and a full size sleeper sofa in the living area. Apartment has a full kitchen and bathroom (bathroom has a large step in tub)

OUTSIDE AREA
The downstairs outside area has a fish cleaning station, bbq pit, boiling pot/burner. Covered shady area perfect for cooking and hanging out.

With all of our rentals tenant is responsible for filling propane bottles, filling can be done at Bridge Side Marina

Nearest golf cart crossover to the beach is right next to the property

*Please note: some beach crossovers and beach areas may be closed due to construction of levee and restoration of beach. Our office has no control over these closings. There will be limited beach accesses during this time.

  • Sunset from Grand Isle State Park, near the southern tip of Louisiana. We didn't know you could drive 1.5 hours south of New Orleans, but you can to reach this beautiful state park. Grand Isle is mostly a summer community but it was sunny and warm and nearly empty for us in early March. The RV park was a great place to stay -- one of our favorites, right next to the beach and with nature paths nearby. We walked on the beach by day, and grilled burgers and sat by the campfire at night. Catholic Men's Retreat

We loved our stay. Presidential Palace is very nice and perfectly conducive to large groups. It's got wonderful views and a very convenient location on the Island. We'll be back!

Large Space and Great Beach Access

Great beachfront property to entertain a large group. BBQ pit and boiling pot/burner were both a plus as an amenity. Large common area and TV with a nice porch beach view. Extra refrigerator and freezer downstairs to chill drinks.

Great space for large groups

The property is beautiful and an amazing location right on the beach! Parking is great! It is a large property and plenty of room for large groups. We had 10 people in our group and it was nice for everyone to have their own room and bathroom. My only complaint is that for the money I feel like a few more ammenities should be supplied like toilet paper (toilet paper holders - I don't know why that bothered me but it did), paper towels and coffee/filters. That is the only reason I gave it a 4 out of 5!

Just what we needed

It was my mother's 90th birthday. We all wanted to relax and spend some time with her. It was amazing all of us under one roof for the weekend. It was more than enough room. It felt like home.

Annual Fishing Trip

Myself and a group of friends and family take a trip each year to a new location. This year was my turn to pick and very glad we chose Grand Isle. Specifically, this property was perfect for our large group. Great location and very nice place. Perfect for a huge group. The only thing I'd mention is the lower level is not updated as nicely as the rest of the house. Lower level was also very musty smelling. I'm sure it's difficult to maintain such a large property and hopefully these fixes are in the works for future renters. Overall, a great place to stay and would definitely rent again.
