LOOSE CHANGEThis is a 4 bedroom camp with lots of sleeping space. Located across from the State Park and short driving distance to Grand Isle Marina (formerly Sand Dollar Marina).Covered area downstairs for cooking, sitting and relaxing.

BBQ pit and boiling pot set up provided. You may have to fill propane tank. Tanks can be filled at Bridge Side Marina or exchanged at one of the local grocery/convenience stores.

Nearest beach cross over is through State Park (admittance fee) or across from Humble Road.

What's nearby

  • Sunset from Grand Isle State Park, near the southern tip of Louisiana. We didn't know you could drive 1.5 hours south of New Orleans, but you can to reach this beautiful state park. Grand Isle is mostly a summer community but it was sunny and warm and nearly empty for us in early March. The RV park was a great place to stay -- one of our favorites, right next to the beach and with nature paths nearby. We walked on the beach by day, and grilled burgers and sat by the campfire at night.
