The couch needs to be replaced. Awful. Other than spiders it seemed clean. Tripped the breaker with the hair dryer. Couldn’t check in 45 minutes early with one staff but could check in 20 minutes early with another. Tub was more slippery than usual. It was not an $850 room. Very disappointed. Price gouging at its finest.

It was geared for families; we had a 2 bedroom/2 bathroom suite and it was perfect for what we needed. They had free continental breakfast each morning with a great variety and a great pool area with a kiddie pool, large pool and hot tub. The pool was flooded on our last day, so we weren't able to enjoy it, but the staff were really attentive and offered the kids free snacks for the inconvenience. The couch wasn't very comfortable, and the cushions kept sinking in, the chairs in the dining lobby area had a lot of wear and tear on them as well but during our stay, they did replace all of them with alternate chairs. Overall, it was a great stay, we will definitely return!!

The bathroom was dirty and the sink was clogged. We asked the room to be cleaned and gave them a nice tip, and the garbage was not taken out.

The stay was fine but the check in was terrible! We had to wait over an hour to get to a room. Excuses were the lack of staff to handle the amount of rooms vacated from the night before. I do understand and they were handling a lot of disgruntled clients due to this. They did do good keeping their cool. The room was good. A little tattered here and there but seemed clean enough especially with those conditions.

Checked in and building was dirty. Room had not even been cleaned and was still dirty from previous guests. Unchanged bedding, food, full garbages. Staff at hotel said their cleaning crew had quit and the temp one only cleans some of the rooms that they get to. Whole place was in disarray and unsanitary. Had to stay elsewhere short notice and never got refunded.

Cleanliness of room needs to improve significantly. A lot of dirt throughout .Damaged items in rooms…..drawer handle bent and hanging, ottomans are so beat up and worn it’s gross to sit in living room . Full garbage and empty alcohol bottles left behind. Only one coffee mug for use in the morning. Drawers won’t stay shut, hazard in bedroom and bathroom. Bedroom doors won’t stay shut in a 2 bedroom suite sharing with other people, no privacy. I was allowed to check in early which was very helpful.

Nice Suite for Families
We had a suite room with the connecting living space. It was a perfect fit for our family. It gave everyone a little room with a mutual congregating space instead of hopping from one room to the next. The staff we did interact with were pleasant. The building does show some age - slightly damaged/dinged doors, paint, hallways, etc but nothing more than cosmetics. The only surprise for us was that weekend breakfast doesn't start until 7:30. That is about the latest start time I think I've seen. For a traveler looking to get onto the road between 7:30-8, it made our take off a little later as we wanted to take advantage of the service. I feel 7-10 may be more realistic instead of 7:30-10:30? We also could not find an ice machine but we never stopped staff to ask. Overall, would 100% stay again.

Property is very used. The room was in disrepair and there was an unpleasant odour. Pool area was not clean. Tables with food and drink were not cleaned at all over the two days we were there. For the price, this hotel is not worth it.

The staybridge were not able to give us the room we booked so they upgraded us to the Holiday inn Express in Grand forks the Holiday inn Express in Grand forks has excellent service on all levels.

The property was beautiful. The walls are paper thin. Our room was on the second floor overlooking the lobby. There were quite a few people in the lobby area having drinks, I could hear them in my room. Also could hear a man snoring from the room next to us. Our pullout bed did not have linen or pillows, I had to call down to the front desk, and they brought them up right away.

The hotel is very comfortable. In need of some renovation. The ice maker did not work in the room. The floor in the kitchen was beat up. The beds were comfortable and the pool/spa area was very nice. Great little breakfast area with good food.
