We stayed for one night, the property needs better cleaning and more towels/wash cloths. We had 3 towels, no wash cloths. It’s okay for one night but anything else I’d say don’t do it.

A nice option right across the street from the beach of Grand Case. Only a 5-10 minute walk from the best dining on St. Martin. Easy to rent beach chairs from beach clubs.

The room was nice enough. AC was necessary for this time of year. No staff available when we arrived. Called a posted number, and person instructed us how to let ourselves in. Food at nearby beach cafe was acceptable. Around midnight, a female in an adjoining room began issuing squeals of pleasure, muttering, whimpers, yipping, and numerous “oh my gods!” It went on for HOURS. The aroma of marijuana was strong. In the morning I asked my wife if she had been awoken by the sounds? She replied “must have been a vibrator to go that long.” When we prepared to check out the next morning, again no staff and office was locked. So, no breakfast for us.

Hello . How crazy is your commentaire ! yes you were install by phone because we were out of the office. We just meet you when we came back. About the noise during the night ; you said that nobody were at the reception again on the morning : my husband were here at the reception you talk with him, he ask you if the night was ok you said there were noise. We ask another customer she said she did not hear anything but anyway that can happen so my husband offer you a coffee... As well you have a moment with him where you were kidding about the sound and told him that it was no matter. As well when the taxi driver arrived. So i don't know why you said that but it is not nice for us and for our work.

My only issue was with the parking. There is only room for 3 small cars to park. Once we were unable to leave the premises because non-guests were parked in front of our car with no way to contact them.

Gem in the heart of Grand Case
Hevea is a hidden little treasure in the center of Grand Case. Easy walking to dinners and beach. Checkin was pleasant and friendly ( even if we don’t speak French!) so glad we found them.

The owner was very nice and accommodating. Hevea has nice seating areas inside the courtyard and on the porch by the road. The beach is just steps away with many options for chairs and service. Grand Case has the best restaurants on the island with many close by. Only complaint was roosters crowing at 2am.(not on property). Desiree at the front desk was super nice and helpful.

The pictures were very deceiving. There was no one there upon arrival. We had to wait to have someone come open back up. The sheets and towels were stained. Not to mention the mosquitos that were infested in the room. The air wasn’t working in the room. The shower had little water pressure. We were not aware that the outlets needed special connections for US standards. The floor was rotten and sunken in in some parts. The locks on the doors were very difficult to work. I will also add the area around was not the safest - especially for me and my friend. There are a two good restaurants and two cute shops but that’s it. Don’t expect to find a grocery store near by either. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND.

Hello You just change your plan and want a refund that is totaly unfair. We have consult you after the first night you just mention the mosquitos and a tower with a mark . We decided to offer that first night and give you an upgrade to another room you did not want and booked something else . You said horrible things on the room that is bad and you said that there is nothing on the street exept 4 places . Look at all other comments ; people call Grand Case as the gastronomic capital of the island...

The hotel was located in the heart of Grand Case, within five minutes walking distance from the best restaurants on the island. The beach was very close and easily accessible. Parking was a snap. The hotel itself is safe and clean and offers a good, basic list of amenities. The staff were were very friendly and helpful, especially Desiree. I would definitely return on a future trip.

Convenient location in affordable hotel
We love this little boutique hotel across the street from the beach. It’s conveniently located to many restaurants and shops. The rooms are small but there are plenty of common spaces to spread out. The staff is friendly and the price is great. They even offer daily cleaning and fresh towels. Wifi is strong enough to get some work done. We would stay here again.

Stayed a few weeks ago. Great location but WiFi is not great. Water stopped working during my stay so couldn’t flush toilet or take a shower for half a day. Housekeeping doesn’t change sheets or towels, just re-folds current ones.

Hello Thank you for your commentaire. We will check the wifi connection in the room where you were. Sorry for the water stop they were making work in the street. we have water in the tank now. About the houosekeeping is changing sheets when it is needed and towels on the flow. We will be attentive to that if it was not done during your stay. Regards

Great stay!
Very nice hosts, property with small parking, a block from great beach. Property is clean and cozy and very comfortable. Will definitely go back with my family. And it is quiet!

My 2 Nd stay with them. Lovely place with great hosts. Only issue is the poor town is still under construction due to the previous hurricane. Still worth the visit to Geand Case.

Not a place that is easily accessed. We returned to the Hotel at 2am and had trouble with their wooden door. And there is absolutely no assistance. We kept trying for about 10 minutes and was able to get in. Don't know what we would have done hadn't been lucky to get it open. Its an OK location for very short stays or layovers. Not a place to stay in and enjoy. Limited to no service on property. You have to call ahead before you check in, not really feasible for persons from abroad who do not have cellphone service on the island.

Hello Grand case is a beach village not easy access yes but typical and we have a car park. We are very sorry if you had trouble with the wood door and we check it straight. You are wright we are not at the reception 24h/24h because we sleep but we are always able to answer the phone in case and it is not a lost place there is restaurant bars etc... around and people able to call us. Great aircondioning and hot water. Nicely decorated and great bed! Great location across from the Rainbow Resturant Would like to see more updates on the buildings down from the strip but the pristine beach in Grand Case is amazing. I was there 2 years ago before the hurricane hit, will take time to bring back like it was before but Grand Case has old European charm.

It was clean and reasonable price. It was located very close to beach and restaurants. But the check in was horrible. We got there at 2pm but could not check in until 4pm because the lobby is closed between 12pm-4pm

Recently renovated small hotel (9 rooms) - very comfortable bed, good washroom with shower, has mini-bar, A/C but no TV (OK with me!). Very pleasant outdoor courtyard. Very helpful host. Good location to walk to restaurants and beach (across the road).

A welcoming, unique hotel
Hotel Hevea is a jewel in the heart of Grand-Case. It’s run by ordinary people who did an extraordinary renovation of a small property. It’s clean, fresh and comfortable with many thoughtful, tasteful details, including comfortable outdoor spaces with WiFi. Don’t expect a resort package sort of place. This is a friendly boutique-type hotel across the street from a beautiful beach and a walk from the famous gourmet restaurants. There are a few types of rooms, so be sure to get the one that fits your needs. This place is a breath of fresh air on an island still struggling to rebuild after Hurricane Irma.

Enjoyed my stay here..
Small hotel newly renovated after the hurricanes of 2017. A minute or two walk to the beach and as Grand Case is a very small village a number of good restaurants are within easy walking distance.The owners and staff are very welcoming....
