"Everything"

"Rook was dirty, AC didn’t work, bed was crunchy noises when sleeping, the rain shower head didn’t work, the ceiling was falling down where the AC was. Service at breakfast at ocean terrace was awful. Servers do not communicate when seating people and seated us at a table that already had people seated at and they were at the buffet getting their plate. Service at lunch was not good. I will be sending a formal complaint to Sonesta regarding our issues. For $700/night the room better be clean and service impeccable. I’ve had better service and cleanliness at a holiday inn. The Maho beach was nice, and being near airport was a plus. "

"Pros: well-maintained, beautiful grounds, friendly helpful staff, great pool and beach, quiet and relaxing, and amazing ATTENTION TO DETAILS. Cons: VERY hilly, unsuitable for people with mobility issues, pool activities (trivia, name that tune, aerobics) made it hard to relax/read/ enjoy quiet. Limited dining options on site, and horrid traffic for off site meals/travel."

"The room was bright and clean, the bathroom was ok except for the toilet which didn’t flush properly , the balcony was awesome with a great view , we did have a ceiling leak after a heavy night of rain but it was near the balcony door so it didn’t bother us. The place could use some paint and updating other than that we really enjoyed our stay there "
