This house is really unique. It is so well done in the Mid-Century Modern decor and furnishings. The kitchen is small but you have everything you need. The bedrooms are nice, although more storage for clothes would be nice. You are right on the river and there are kayaks available. The patio is nice too. It has a propane fire pit on it. There are books to read, puzzles to assemble, and games to play. No matter your age. There are even baby toys.All in all, this is a great place to stay!

Adorable cabin with a beautiful view!

We stayed at Agave House for a quick moms getaway. It is beautifully decorated and has so many thoughtful touches. The beds are very comfortable with good bedding. Cozy tv and conversation area and a beautiful view of the live oaks, cardinals and squirrels. Owner provided excellent communication & plenty of info for the house & area. Highly recommend!

Charming Waterfront Gem

This house is absolutely adorable. It is a cute and clean house that is perfect for a small family or a couples' getaway. It sits right on the water with tons of windows that let in beautiful natural light, making it bright and airy. Aesthetic, cozy and full of charm - it's a peaceful little retreat.

Wonderful Stay at the Agave House

We had an amazing 3-night stay here for a couples getaway. The location was absolutely wonderful—peaceful and private, yet still close to everything we needed. The place was just like the photos—clean, cozy, and very comfortable. We especially appreciated the well-stocked kitchen and the comfy bed, which made us feel right at home.One of the highlights was taking the canoe out—it was such a fun and relaxing way to enjoy the surroundings. This spot was perfect for unwinding and reconnecting. We would absolutely stay here again!

Perfect getaway

We had such a lovely time at the Agave House. The facilities were even better than pictured. Beds were very comfortable, kitchen was well-stocked. Canoe and kayaks were an added bonus. Outdoor space was beautiful and peaceful. Indoor decor has so many lovely touches including games and books throughout. Will definitely stay again.

Beautiful Oasis

This is a beautiful property inside as well as your view outside. The place is even prettier than the pictures. I loved my stay there and plan to go back at some point. Meredith was a great host and stayed in contact with me. Would recommend this to anyone!

Great Mid Century Modern House on the Lake

This was a fantastic little house to stay in. Excellent styling, all the amenities you could want, and a spacious open floor plan. It's only about 5-10 minutes into Granbury. And the lake access is great. Would absolutely stay again!

Granbury Get Away

The house was a perfect getaway for me and my hubby to celebrate New Year’s. Travel time to historic downtown, for shopping and enjoying walks in the park, was under ten minutes. The evening’s were quiet and relaxing sitting on the back porch making s’mores on the lake. The house is beautiful and has all amenities you’ll need or want. We would definitely return.

Love the Agave house!

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at this house. My granddaughter says it’s her favorite place we’ve stayed so far. The house is very clean and we had everything we needed. And the layout and decor are so cool, from the curved walls to the floor to ceiling windows. You will not be disappointed staying here. We hope to come back someday.

Best birthday trip ever!

We had such a wonderful time staying at the agave house, the house had included kayaks and canoes which we used to go from the canal to the lake and it was so relaxing. Meredith was wonderful about providing me with all of the information about where we were staying and even gave recommendations for things to do in Granbury! We had a blast and will definitely be back!

A beautiful and unique property

We spent a couple of nights here and had a wonderful time! The property is beautiful and unique and was perfect for my little family. We enjoyed the decor, the sensible layout, and the amenities (especially the canoes and kayaks). There are even a number of board games and toys provided, which is a boon for those of us who have toddlers. I also appreciated the timely and clear communication from Meredith. We will stay here again the next time we visit the area!

Refreshing Getaway for Hubby and me with Friends!

We love Agave House! It's well equipped, very clean, with fun games, books, and decor. And the firepit and cushiony seating with patio lights outside was a delight. The view of the lake was just enough, and the birds and trees were like a park. Host Meredith was so friendly and helpful and communicative; her part alone doubled our enjoyment. ps--our friends left a gold wedding ring, housekeepers returned it! Thank you!!!

Private, comfortable and nicely decorated

Photos are accurate. The home is very cute and nicely decorated. The 2 bedrooms are opposite ends of the home, with the family and living spaces between, so each couple is ensured adequate privacy.The kitchen has all the basic needs. The beds are really comfy. The back deck is large and comfortable. The home was spotless and in perfect order (with the minor exception of there being several light bulbs that were out) and our stay was very easy and comfortable.

Nice getaway

The house is situated right on an inlet to the river with large windows that look out onto the deck. The house has fun decor and all the basics that you could want/need. It also has some games for the kids.

The host was so gracious and quick to respond. They have made this like a true vacation home! They thought everything: the kitchen is stocked and the bookshelves are packed with must-reads. Within arm’s reach are toys, playing cards, and tabletop games. The living room flows onto the patio that’s perfect for sunbathing or enjoying an evening by the fire pit. The master bedroom has the comfiest bed and an excellent view of the scenery. The decor is period accurate and looks amazing. The house itself is in a quiet neighborhood sheltered from busy roads and noise. Grocery stores, vineyards, bars, fine dining, the lake, the beach, and the historic town square is only 5-10 minutes away. 10/10 recommended

A wonderful stay

Before check in communication with the host was very good. The house is wonderful. Very modern and clean. The river behind was a source of entertainment. The kids lived fishing and going on the canoes. The property is private and not overlooked. It’s about a ten minute drive into central Granbury. This was definitely The relaxing break away from the city that we needed. Would highly recommend staying here.

Great Getaway!

The Agave House did not disappoint! The pictures on the website are spot on in regard to the vibe and style of the place. Designed for easy living with a great view of the outdoors and the water, we felt like we were tucked away in a serene yet easily accessible retreat that was close to the local attractions. Our host was great! Meredith was friendly, thoughtful, and readily available if we had a question or concern. I would highly recommend the Agave House for your next vacation to the Granbury area!

Perfect Getaway House

Our stay at Agave House was perfect. House is roomy, well decorated and had everything we needed. Beds were very comfortable. We received check in details on the morning of and had no issues accessing the space. Although it’s not walking distance to the square, the drive to and from was very easy. Neighborhood was very quiet and the deck off the back of the house was nice to have. We would definitely stay there again.
