"The door lock was broken, there was a lot of noise on the second floor, and the dog barked incessantly. "Our family loved this hotel for its colonial charm, walkability to the center of town and to various restaurants and coffee shops. There is a great restaurant that is associated with the hotel that also served a great breakfast. The pool was refreshing. The front desk staff was very helpful in recommending activities. Great laundry service. The room was a nice respite from the heat and with good air conditioning. If you want to see the lively local market, there are a number of vendors only a block down where the locals shop. "

"Avoid this place at all costs. There are BEDBUGS. My family had to leave in the middle of the night after zero sleep. The owner did not take responsibility. The hostel is very old and dirty, as well. I have no idea how this place got any good reviews. I think they must be fake. Stay away!"
