Hotel clean, comfortable and surprisingly quiet. Facilities excellent, health club fantastic. Breakfast very good, something for every taste

Just returned from a three night stay, everything was as great as it could be, helpful friendly people, nothing was too much trouble. Our only criticism is their sister hotel could do with some staff training, service was as good as being at fawlty towers. However idle rocks was perfect !!

Fantastic views , we had room 2 on the ground floor , not accesable through the hotel but that was no problem lovely large room with a seating area at window to view St Michaels Mount and beach. Good size bathroom with large walk in shower We had breakfast included which included cooked to order , restuarant again with far reach views of the Mount and beach. We did eat 1 meal in the evening , it was just ok If you book your room though the hotel you can get one of their parking slots next door , think its £10 per night , if you book through a booking agent you need to park in long stay which is further away , @£15 per 24 hours I would recommend for its position alone

We had a mixed experience at this hotel, with some positive aspects but also some very frustrating issues. The biggest problem was the room. We booked and paid for a room advertised with a balcony, but upon arrival we were told that the room we had booked simply did not exist. What was most disappointing was how the hotel handled the situation. They did not offer any solution, complimentary service, or compensation, and instead blamed Expedia. Fortunately, we contacted Expedia, and they were excellent, doing everything possible to help us resolve the issue. The room itself was okay and had a decent view, but there was quite a lot of dust, the bathroom sink kept getting clogged, and the shower pressure was very poor. We also had to deal with the hotel trying to charge us again for breakfast, even though we had already paid for it. The bar staff were always lovely and attentive, while the reception staff often seemed as though helping guests was a favour. On the positive side, the hotel is large and spacious, with an excellent location close to the beaches and city centre. The spa is fantastic and has a wonderful view. I also had a massage with Natasha, which I highly recommend. Overall, the balcony issue was by far our biggest disappointment. Despite this, we would consider staying again because of the great location and excellent spa, but we hope the hotel improves its customer service and how it handles mistakes.
